Hey Ladies,

I just ordered them off of ebay.I got the ones 12 for $4.??. anyway as soon as I get them i will post many pics!!!

I believe they are Chinese. At least it sounds like Mandarin to me. It def isn't Thai, Thai doesn't sound or look like that) And sina is a chinese company.

that said I don't get how they work, Do you use the middle section like a regular curler and then cover it so it doesn't come loose?:ohwell:

I have no idea:perplexed...It seems like it's made out of the same material as sponge/foam rollers, so I wouldn't be able to use them, they snag my hair...I'd be interested to hear other's results, tho-

Yeah, I would be scared to use them. For my hair would get caught on them too.

They look cute (the result) but it seems like they'd be hard to sleep on...and the foam too, doesn't seem like that would be great for my hair.

I don't know if this helps anyone, but I found this while searching about these. It shows how one lady uses them.

I just discovered the PM in my box, sorry i never got back:grin::blush: I havent been on in a while!

If any one is still interested i found them on ebay just put in hair balls.

They are not hard to sleep in at all, they are VERY light..feels like air! I did it on wet hair with some wrap foam/spray. I banded my NG and rolled my hair(making sure ends are tucked) then i flipped up & rolled in.

It basically came out like a bantu knot out. I havent tried it on my natural hair but you know what i think i should:yep: When i do i will post back in this thread!

Im so sorry for answering so late ladies:ohwell:

When I first saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be about sex toys. I thought to myself... hmmmm that is unusal for a hairboard...:lachen:.....

lmao! :lachen:

I actually ordered lots of these and I put one on a section of my hair (just for a a half hour) after I had it straightened last week. it held with no help and I could see that it would definitely curl my hair. They are very light and smooth so I couldn't imagine them snagging anyone's hair but I haven't tried them curly. I am interested in the Lucidol the lady used for shine on the blog MSA posted.

Anyone use these with good results, it seems like they would suck the moisture right out of the hair, wonder if someone could make these wrapped in satin?!

I used these when I first moved to Japan and couldn't find real rollers. They were like 8 in a pack at the 100yen store (dollar store) here. (So many jgirls use these!!!)

I used to be natural and now I have a Japanese straight perm. I used them before and also now. They don't snag your hair at all and you can't even feel them while sleeping.

I've wanted to try a roller set with them under the dryer but scared they would dry my hair all up???

I think I'm going to try a rollerset tomorrow with my sponge balls again and ORS Foaming Rollerset Moouse. (sp?)
