If so, what are you using? What products give moisture? I'm such a junkie...
TIA!
Ugh, should have put in the title "natural" 3c/4a's -- sorry!

Thanks for the bump! I know that I've heard some thinking about trying the line but are there no 3c/4a mixes that have anything from the line? I'm dying to know if anyone's tried the Curls Milkshake, too -- anyone?

I would also like to know b/c I am considering the milkshake to be used on my daughter's thick 3c/4a hair.

I'm not really a 3c, but anyhoo--

I bought a sample of the Curls line--Asian tea conditioner, Elixir, Goddess Glaze, and Milkshake. I never got around to using the conditioner, but really liked the Milkshake, to the point that I purchased the full size. I haven't repurchased a second time, but probably not because it's not a good product, but because I'm fickle and I'm onto the next thing.

At some point, I might repurchase Milkshake and try the Curls Whipped Cream or the Curls Souffle. I think it's a good line, and worth trying.

I purchased samples and used the milkshake and whip cream. Very lightweight. Absolutely love the smell. I would like to repurchase bigger sizes of both because the sample sizes weren't really enough for my hair.

Nice, do you think it had very good detangling properties and moisturizing properties?

Sounds like they were very moisturizing as well?

I use the Curls line of products. I have the Souffle, Whipped Cream, and the Milkshake. I didn't really care for the Souffle. I like the Whipped Cream and the Milkshake. I did a product review of the Curls line in my fotki. I don't know if I will repurchace it because I don't see myself spending that much money on hair products regularly.

You guys, thanks for the replies! I was hoping that more had tried them but these few reviews are very, very helpful. Anyone else have any comments about these products, please?

I use the Milkshake as a leave in. I typically don't need anything else when I use it. I'm also a big fan of the Whipped Cream which I use alone also. The shampoos are nice too, but I haven't tried her conditioners. I didn't like the souffle but haven't tried it since it's been reformulated and the Curls Spiral Cream is good if you're looking for hold.

I don't know about detangling properties, because I only detangle once a week in the shower. It does have good moisturizing properties though, especially the milkshake. I also didn't try the Asian Tea conditioner, which is what I would use to detangle.

i recently purchased for my daughters' hair and i am not impressed with its curl "holding" abilites :ohwell: i am using the milkshake and the whipped cream. the milk shake seems to be very good as a daily moisturizer for their hair (which is like 3c-4a). the whipped cream, though :nono: ...i will continue to use it in their hair for wash-n-gos just because that junk is pricey!

i also am using the tea conditioner (on my hair - i am relaxed) and it is just ok. i added SAA, EVOO and castor oil to it. i've been using it as a DC weekly until it's gone at which time i will try that DPR.

i will not be re-purchasing these products, i think there are probably products that are just as effective, if not better, that don't cost an arm and a leg.

hth! good luck!

Hmm, I guess I may pass on these right now then. As much of a junkie as I am, I'm sure I'll find something. Thanks, again, ladies!

I don't use them (I'm transitioning), but I was interested. The price is stopping me though.

Same, I don't wanna buy something and then not like it :).

I have the coconut sublime conditioner (the one for the kids...it was cheaper and had the same ingredients :look:)

It is a wonderful leave-in.

But I am curious about the styling products.

Hey ladies...
I just got curls whipped cream, I am gonna play with it tonight... it should be on my doorstep when i get home.... I'll let you know what I think...

Can you do a wash and go with it?

Please keep us posted! I just ordered some of the products from Amazon and I'd love to see how they work on my hair type before they arrive!

Can you do a wash and go with it?

I shall do that first!
See u guys first thing 2morrow morning!
I am gonna detangle 2nite with something and sleep on it, then in the morning I'm gonna clarify with kids motions clarifying shampoo, then poo and con with my usual, and then use the whipped cream by its directions I guess...
haven't been home to open it yet I'm so excited!:drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

guys...
im so ashamed...
i just...
tasted it!!!!
:lachen: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen:
It smells like icing!!!!
lemme take my hungry butt to bead...
tomorrow... wet set... if i don't eat it...
it tastes horrible but the scent fooled me enough to actually put my finger in it, and taste it lol.
fat.

I'm using it but i'm not a fan... I have the milkshake, $17...... I do WnG's and I use it just to put some moisture in my hair....it's a white cream and when I rub it in my hair it makes my hair look white...so i keep massaging it in until it's gone...I'm concerned that I'll run out the house, miss a spot and someone will see a yucky looking grey spot in my hair...

(I prolly won't get it again...but I will finish the jar though:))

3c/4a checking in.

Let's see, I have or had at some point the Cleansing Cream, Coco Sublime con, Quenched, Milkshake, Whipped and Souffle. I've found with these products less is definitely more!! I like the Whipped and Souffle. Wasn't too impressed w/the Milkshake. Quenched was eh, ok but my 3b/c sis LOVES it. Idk if its because my hair is thick, but I have to use a lot of the cleansing cream. A lot. I like the Coco Sublime conditioner, detangles nicely and smells yummy. Do I get a lot of moisture from these products? Not totally up to my standards so once everything is gone, I won't be repurchasing. I'm a junkie and as one, I have other products that work as well as, if not better, than the Curls stuff.

Yep.:yep:

Not impressed with Quenched curls. Had better results with Taliah Waajid's Bodifer. Equally not impressed with Milkshake and Coconut Sublime conditioner. May have something to do with London's hard water as those products failed to moisturise my hair. Asian Tea conditioner is so-so. Will not repurchase the above once they run out.

On the other hand, I love Soufflé, Glaze and Euphoria Elixir (not happy this has been discontinued). I use Soufflé and Glaze for my WaG and is firmly a part of my regime.
