In all my years of Nappydom, I never bought a Denman because they were like $10. Well today I decided to treat myself and buy. Lo and behold...Sally's were selling them for 4.99!!!!!!:pepper::pepper::pepper:I brushed through my dry fro and it slide right on through!!!:rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker::rocker:

I am Really Glad this thread got Bumped.:yep:

A PJ Friend of Mine from Pittsburgh recently sent me a Denman D-3 and I've been a little afraid to use it.:perplexed Almost intimidated. I can't afford to Rip Out any Hair?:nono:

I am Relaxed and about 9 weeks Post. Not sure if it will be a "Useful" Tool for Me or not?

If you hair is detangled, you should be okay dry but to be safe, it best to use it on damp or wet hair with lots of detangler/moisturizer/conditioner. :yep:

It's great for getting flat ponies and puffs

I just bought myself two this year. But i loss alot of hair for some reason the one time i tried to detangle. I'm relaxed. I think i'll hold on to it til the day i become natural.

I had the same issue.
As a natural Denman was literally my best friend, after perming it was too much for my weakened strands. I don't even know where it is now...I need to dig it out of the graveyard.

Well, You Two Ladies Just Confirmed That I Need to Leave that Alone.:look: Thanks

I was thinking the samething, cause I was thinking about getting it.....

When She Sent it She Sent a "Disclaimer" i.e. "I think it Actually Works better on Natural Hair......" :look:

How You Gonna Send a PJ Something and then expect Them Not to Use it?:perplexed

But after I read through a Coupla' of Threads and the most recent Relaxed Posts 2-Nite..............

Naaahhh.......I'm Straight.:look: I can't be losing No Hurrr

I have natural hair and I can not use the D3. It took out way too much and to use it would be very time consuming for the amount of hair I have and length. I was in the shower with tons of conditioner and used on a small section of hair as a test run. It would have taken an hour or so to use that thing on my whole head. But, I ordered the D41 (suppose to be for detangling and thick or curly hair) online yesterday becasue the rows are spread very far apart and so are the pins. It reminds me of a wide tooth comb except it's just a brush. Can't wait to use it!!

More power to the people that can use the D3.
