Yep. I used ORS Herbal Cleanse a couple of times. It works fine for hair that's slightly dirty. If your hair is really dirty, you're best going for a real wash.

I typically wash my hair once a week. But I play softball in the middle of the week on Wed and my wash day is typically Sunday. I was wondering if using the dry shampoo after my game on Wed. would tie me over to Sunday.

I hope that isn't too confusing! But washing my hair in the middle of the week is no fun!

Ah, I see. Yep, ORS Herbal Cleanse can tie you over til Sunday. I used it for similar reasons too. Herbal Cleanse contains aloe vera gel and alcohol. You put some on your scalp, let it sit, then wipe it off. You put some on your hair, let it sit, then dab it off. There's also the option of using witch hazel instead.

I've heard of the powder form of dry shampoo but never tried it. I believe they can tie you over til Sunday as well if your issue is just the hair being dirty. If its the scalp, I say go with ORS Herbal Cleanse or witch hazel.

HTH!

Last time I straightened my hair my scalp started to itch about 3 days in. After spending hours in a hot bathroom with a flatiron I was NOT ready to let go! :lachen:

I went to Sally's a bought a spray on dry shampoo - it was called Baptiste. I was really surprised at how well it cleaned my scalp. It left my hair feeling fresh and fluffy. It worked like a volumizer too - probably all the brushing and scalp rubbing. I will use it in a pinch if I overuse product, but for me it's a must have if I'm going to straighten. :yep:

I used the ORS when I had braids. It BURNS though - all that dang alcohol. Gives you that tingley clean feeling for sure! It can take a while though b/c you have to wipe it off your scalp with a towel. I used paper towel or an old t-shirt usually....I wouldn't use this if I was trying to keep my roots straight though, the gel formula rewets the hair and they'll wave up. HTH
