Thanks for the tip about the rosewater. I wondered about that. Is aloe vera juice for moisture?
just a heads up-- if your hair is very protein sensitive, aloe vera (juice) may not be for you b/c, although moisturizing for some, it also consists of protein.

The protein in aloe vera is collagen protein which is a great water binding agent and is known to improve the elasticity of the hair.
I think if you're going to use aloe vera to help moisturize, you shouldn't have too much of a problem, especially if it's mixed with something else. If you already have a lot of protein in your regimen then pay close attention to how your hair reacts.

I would mix 1 part aloe vera 1 part glycerin. I loved this. I did this when I as relaxed on braidout and my hair was so soft and shiny. Best braid out ever. I can't wait to try this on my natural hair.
I was also wondering about rosewater and will take this off my list of things to try.
