I just added this to my list of things that I never did before I came here. I didn't remember until now. It never crossed my mind to put some conditioner before raking the comb through my head.

I take out the weave/thread, slather with conditioner, and then begin to unbraid the braids. I stop and detangle as I go and braid it up in big plaits.

Then only when I'm done with all of that do I wet my hair with water.

I don't think I would ever step foot in that shop. The way that she was ripping the comb through her hair.... And the fact that she was like, "I'm going to lose a lot of hair.... I have short broken off pieces, but oh well." Ain't no way. I'd be inconsolable.

The one and only time I got my hair braided there they insisted on using brown gel to do my braids so when she dipped them in the end my hair had a brown stain on it.

And, they make you pay when they're halfway through your head. After they get the money the slow wayyyyy down since they have no reason to keep moving quickly.

ETA: That video's bad for business. I wouldn't want to get my braided by someone who's braids are that hard to remove or if their takedown techniques was that rough.
