I took some pics of my hair after washing and dc'ing it.

My bf said that he likes it (unprompted) :)

It would shrink much more than this if it dried. I do look foreward to the day I can wear wash n gos and still look like I have some hair. lol

Any hair twins out there? :D Would love to know your reggies...

Looks really nice...I have always thought our hair was really similar but I'm not natural...

Neith, you went natural, girl? Where was I when this happened ! Anyway, congrats and love your hair.

Ahh, it looks so much like my own! All nice and thick and curly, with like 75% shrinkage (on a good day :lachen:). Beautiful hair! I wish I could find my darned computer cord though, so I could upload some pics.

And for my reggie, it's pretty simple. I prepoo, cowash or wash with CON, deep condition for 30 min with heat, acv rinse, leave-in condish and gel for wash and go, or twists. Trying not to play with my hair, esp. since cutting off the texturizing/thinning has lead to an exponential increase in knotting. HTH!

I know what you mean about the 75% shrinkage. That's what drove me to texlax

Love your hair, it's so thick!!! Are you the one who said when you Bc'd your BF hid the hair and wouldn't give it back? LMAO. Have you found it yet?

Beautiful hair, Neith. I usually MMOB when it comes to people's hair and what they do to it, but I'ma hurt you if you change that texture. It'th thoo cute!!!

gorgeous Neith! it looks a lot like my hair did when it was shorter like that. i just didn't have the greatest camera back then.

we may not be twins, but perhaps cousins... :look:

Hey cousin

lol, I can't wait to see what it looks like when it grows out. I've never had long natural hair that was very healthy!

Guess nobody (with pics) is my hair twin. No matter, that makes it more exciting because it will be more of a surprise and learning experience :)

Don't fret! I've been on hair boards since 2004 and to date, only know of 2 people who I can call hair twins. One of which I just recently found this past month!

I have lots of hair relatives though, and just like real family we have lots of things in common. Of course you already know what great advice you can get on the board - there are always new ideas popping up. Or sometimes even old ones we forget about get revived, and we discover that's what our hair needed all along. :yep:
