Does anyone knows where I can purchase the yes to carrots line? Thanks:look:

If you're in NYC I know they carry the line at Duane Reade and Walgreens. There is also a website www.yestocarrots.com you can't buy from it but it will tell you other locations on where to buy and provide you info on their other products

This week I actually picked up a few things.......

Marshall's had 33.5 oz size bottles of Giovanni so I stocked up on a few things
Tea Tree Triple Treat shampoo
Tea Tree Triple Treat conditioner
Smooth as Silk deep moisture shampoo
50/50 conditioner

Form the hair supply store I got
Garnier Sleek & Shine leave in conditioner cream
Roux 2 Phase equalizing leave-in treatment
Motions Marula - Hair Strengthening Moisturizer

From Duane Reade
2 jars of Yes 2 Carrots Hair & Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask (they were miss marked on the shelf for 75% off so I snatched up the 2 jars they had left...I hope I like it there has been so much talk about it on the board)

Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths Conditioner
NTM Silk Touch Leave In Cream
Profectiv Growth Renew Temple Defense Leave In Conditioner

My hair loves the first two, but I had not heard of the first one until I saw it in CVS just minutes ago. I read the ingredients list and while it has a number of 'cones, I saw a few items that I know my hair likes such as the oils.

This is what it is supposed to do:

Profectiv Growth Renew Temple Defense Leave-In Conditioner Hair Restoration Growth Renewal System. Vitamin Based Hair Restoration. Hair Loss Prevention and Protection. Penetrates and stimulates root while thickening, moisturizing and strengthening hair to enhance natural growth.
Helps prevent and correct hair loss even while wearing hair weaves, extensions, braids and wigs.

-Multiple uses: Rinse out or leave-in hair and scalp daily.
-After shampooing, deep condition by saturating hair and sitting under the dryer 5 minutes, then rinse-out.
-Leave-in hair after shampooing or use daily in the morning or before bedtime.
-With fingers, massage into hair roots and work outwards toward hair tips.
-Use as rinse out conditioner or leave-in conditioner after hair relaxing or color treated hair.

I am going to try it as a rinse out and a leave in, but I bought it primarily to use as a leave in.

Loreal Professional Liss Extreme Shampoo and Smooth Ultimate for course hair, Loreal PRO-V for colored dry/damaged hair conditioner, Loreal serum for gloss and 3 minute Aussie for moisture.

Next month I will get some more CHI serum for my blowdrying, but should be okay for a few months after that! Trying to save money!

To wrap the week up...

4 x Yes To Carrot Hair & Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask
2 x Yes To Carrot Pampering Hair Mud Conditioner
2 x Yes to Cucumber Daily Makeover Conditioner
3 x CON Detangling Shampoo
1 x Silken Child Silk Moisturizing Creme
2 x Pack 1/2 inch snap on magnetic rollers
2 x Satin pillowcases

This week I've purchased some Aussie 3 Min Deeep and products from Jasmine's Bath and Body: Leave-in, perfume, and scented lotion. That's all. I won't do anymore.

Okay, last time. I bought the John Frieda serum in the heat treatment formula, and the IC Polisher. I think I'll give the IC Polisher to my sister.

I bought a bottle of Safflower oil this month and some EVOO last month. I've tamed the PJ in me and don't see me buying anything new for the next few months.

I went to the local Indian grocer and picked up Turmeric skin cream, a few bottles of Vatika Oil, Amla Oil, and Methi Powder.

They were all out of the Ayurvedic powders. So I ordered Kalpi Tone, Brahmi, Heenera, and Hibiscus powders online.

1/2 gallon of elucence moisture balance conditioner

1 tween size tigi catwalk oatmeal and honey conditioner

1 tween size tigi bed head dumb blonde reconstructor

From Duane Reade
2 jars of Yes 2 Carrots Hair & Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask (they were miss marked on the shelf for 75% off so I snatched up the 2 jars they had left...I hope I like it there has been so much talk about it on the board)

Extremely jealous of this achievement...
*no, seriously :ohwell:*

Okay, purchases for the week...

Qhemet: Burdock Root, Alma Pomade, sample of Detangling Ghee

Sally's: 16 oz Lustrasilk Shea + Mango (so I can have a steam session while on vacation), TangleTamer, Plastic Caps and Hask Straight Solution hair straightener (didn't get the sabino again, so why not)

This weekend I bought Aussie Hair Insurance spray, 3 Minute Miracle Sydney Smooth treatment, and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner. I'm really impressed with the Aussie Hair Insurance spray, it's good stuff.

I finally bought a 1 3/4 inch SEDU from folica.com. It was only around $120.00 with 2 yr warranty and heat pouch. Too bad I wont be able to test it out bc I'm in twists extensions.
