I used Cholesterol in my hair when I was younger and never really knew if it was benefitting my hair or not.
So I have a few questions:
- Is doing a Cholesterol treatment an important part to a healthy hair care regimen?
- How can you tell when your hair needs this treatment? How often should it be done?
- Which product do you use? What's your process?
Thank you so much for any feedback. I greatly appreciate it.

I'm glad you started this because in my honest opinion I think Cholesterol treatments are wonderful! I use LeKair and then cover with a plastic cap and sit under the dryer for about 20min or so, and when I rinse I can definitely feel the diff. in my hair! Which by the way I am thinking about upping my cond. treatments with it to 2x a week opposed to once a week!
But I think cholesterols are an inexpensive way to deep condition and moisturize. I agree with YCJ (the previous poster) that not all products work for all the ladies. It is so inexpensive ($2.25?) that if it does not work for you, it can be passed to someone else.
