I just got my package and the Desert Essence DOES smell like a jolly rancher! Yum! :lick: I really shoulda got the conditioner

I love the challenge too! I keep telling dh that I have to keep getting more conditioners so I won't run out :giggle: I looove dc'ing! :D

I say use the NG Jojoba, so I can get a review :look:

I ended up using the NG Jojoba con last night for 2 hrs w/o heat. I really like it! It's not as thick as I expected but it left my hair feeling really good after I rinsed it out. I feel like it has a good protein/moisture balance. However the slip isn't that great, I'm 5 weeks post and it's getting to be that time where I need slip when detangling. Next time I DC with it I think I'm going to throw in some coconut oil and I think it will also be great for cowashes.

On a side note, it smells and feels JUST like AO Swimmer's conditioner and when I compared the ingredients, they both have jojoba oil, panthenol and proteins/amino acids as key ingredients :scratchch

Yeah I know, and that's why I will be able to do this:grin:. I don't know if I could ever live it down if you two found out that I been slippin' in products through the back door:lachen:.
Yeah, cause you know we'll put you on blast! :lachen:

Thanks for the review!!! I was wondering what you chose to use! Now I'm excited to use it :yay: I was thinking about getting that Swimmer's Conditioner too, but if this is similar, I'll skip it. I remember reading that the Swimmer's Con was a lighter version of GPB, so it makes sense that your hair would be moisturized yet strong.

I'm gonna use it tomorrow as a co wash, to see how it feels. If I like it (and I think I will :D ) I'll dc with it in a few days. Man, I love that challenge! :dance7:

Over the wkend I bought...Aphogee 2 minute reconstructer, Elasta QP Intense Con...today I went to Super Target and they had Garnier and HE on sale. I stood there for about 10 mins but eventually decided to try the HE Hello Hydration, shampoo and conditioner...they are only 2.99...I will probably go back and buy the GF Moisture set as well before Saturday when the sale ends. At Target I also bought some ouchless headbands to wear w/my summer textured styles.

With having my braids in for almost 3 weeks I havent bought anything this week because I bought all the oils and conditioners and clarifying poo's before I got my braids which was about $200 worth of products and oils. So Im coasting I might buy some more teatree oil for my moisture mix.

As of today I purchased the Pantene 5 min strengthening mask cond., my oh so faithful Hawaiian silky 14 in 1 moist. the big one and the 16 oz. can't afford to run out, LeKair cholesterol cond., and got in on the sale at Qhemet and purchased the Alma and Olive heavy cream, Burdock Root butter cream, Olive and honey hydrating balm, tea tree and grapeseed threapeutic pomade, Indian Macassar cond. Oil, Amla Oil Nourishing pomade, and th Cocoa tree detangling ghee. I also purchased 5 100gm of the Karishma henna. That's it! But I must say with all of the Qhemet Biologics the 20% off was a huge savings for me. Especially since this will be my very first time using the products. I just hope they work as well as many ladies here on the board claims! If not I will be selling them! Oh one more I will be buying tonight and that's the Indigo from mehandi.com
