What do you think?

I wouldn't claim it until at least 1/3 of my hair could rest comfortably on my shoulders.

Oh and the reason it seems longer when wet is because the weight of the water stretches it out. That's why dry hair pics are more useful to determine length.

You're not there yet, keep on treating that hair like gold and you'll be SL in no time!

Im confused. When is your hair shoulder length then? Isn't it when it touches your shoulders?

Isn't SL before CBL? Correct me if im wrong.

Aw, I so understand how you feel because I'm nearly the same length and I will tell you that I do believe you are SL. SL refers to your hair reaching your shoulders (i.e. past the end of the neck) and clearly your hair does that in every pic. The problem that some ladies have is that your dry hair pics aren't very convincing at all since you put the majority of your hair up in that pony tail and made your hair look too wispy, thin and scraggly to be considered SL. All you have to do is take another dry hair pic with your hair brushed straight back and pay attention to make the ends look thick and full. Once you do this, you'll have a chorus of girls validating your hair length.

I voted not quite there but almost. Do you have a direct back shot with all of your hair down? In your dry shots your head is twisted so it's difficult to see where the hair falls.

I thought it was the other way around:look:. My hair is never fully straighten, there is always some curl pattern in it so I usually use wet shot to determine my length.

I can't comment for anyone else, but I would say not quite. The reason I say not quite is the state of your ends. In pictures you posted your ends look damaged almost to the point of needing to be cut. That combined with the fact that set of pics has you in a half pony tail and there is no straing on back shot makes it difficult for me to assess whether your hair is actually shoulder length or not.

FYI I counted shoulder length when majority of the ends of my hair, wet or flat ironed, touched/brushed my shoulders. My hair has progressed about an inch past that which on my body is around my collar bone.

ETA: Like iNicola my hair is almost never straight (nor will it be as I'm on a personal no heat challenge) so if I don't flat iron I do my assessments when my hair is still wet.

I hate the fact that my nape is SL and the rest of my hair is below ear level. When I stretch my nape it is definitely touching my shoulder. The rest is at the bottom of my cheek. I will have to wait for my hair to grow some more.:ohwell:

I know you want the length but I think you should rejoice in the fact that your hair is healthy and growing. I say keep up the regimen and let the length come with time. HHG

I don't know what pics these other people are looking at, but your hair is obviously SL. The angle and style at which you took these pics is not the best to do a length check. You should do them with all of your hair down and a pic of your back, not twisted at an angle.

You should take a pic with all of your hair down. Judging from the pics you have here it looks like you're grazing SL.

Kay,
You getting there girl.. Keep doing good things to that hair.
Im watching you... What did I say about protecting those ends?:naughty:
Keep up the good work. Remember more moisture.. less protein. Roller set and no blow dryer. I'm watching ya. Don't make me :driver: out there and tuck them ends in.

Thanks Tam your words are always ENCOURGING!!

Two or so more months of taking radically good care of the body and the ends of your hair and you will be there with fuller hair and length.
Looks good, keep up the plan.
