Deep Conditioning w/ heat?

It does for me for a couple of reasons:

1. I'm lazy. I read some of these threads and how yall are deep conditioning for hours here and there, and I am just not the one!! :look: I deep condition for 30-45 minutes with heat, and I feel the same benefit as if I conditioned for hours.

2. I've got very coarse, thick hair, and I just find that using heat really helps with the penetration and makes my hair feel much softer. I just don't get that feeling when I just leave a conditioner in.

3. Until I can afford a steamer (birthday's in October:grin:), this is crucial for my steam treatments.

I DC for about 15 mns under the dryer or until the hair is warm. I let it cool off and then rinse. My hair feels more conditioned following this method. I'm natural, BSL+ with fine strands....

Absolutely !:yep: For Me, it has made a World Of Difference for My Hair to incorporate the use of Heat. i.e. Dryer, Heat Cap or Steamer.

I feel that my Hair is more Nourished, the Conditioner is able to perform better and Absorb more with that extra added element(heat).

I can personally say, that for me, there has been a significant difference in the overall quality of my Wash Days, by adding Deep Conditioning Treatments with Heat. My New Growth is alot "softer" hair is easier to detangle and just the whole experience is much nicer and faster by Deep Conditioning with Heat.:yep:

Yes.It makes a huge difference.I don't DC for hours though,just 20 or 30 minutes maybe 3 or 4 times a month.
