CurlyNikki your hair is amazing!
How do you know which cones are alright and which ones aren't? Or are they all bad?
Maybe this is why my cowashes aren't so great...:perplexed

Thanks ms.lala!!!

I posted an article on my blog about the different cones. They all act a little different. My hair loves amodimethicone, but hates dimetchicone and the cyclo cone. Check out the thread under hair tips.

Hth!

I've just seen it! Thanks so much! This is just what I need to know! I'll be reading this on the train home. I absolutely love the health and everything about your hair! I've a lot to learn man!

Just wanted to "testify" (lol) about Curly Nikki's Twist N Curl technique! I learned about her here on LHCF and stalked her site for about 2 months before finally trying the T'n'C. It works wonders for my hair and it will be my saving grace this summer! I experimented with different products - first I ordered the Jessicurl Deep Conditioner and DevaCurl One Conditioner to make sure and duplicate CN's products. I also bought pure shea butter for the ends and of course the ever important snap-on curlers, end papers and duckbill clips for the roots (that is the BEST TIP EVER btw...).

Anyway, it worked really well for me the first time, although my curls got frizzy a little too quickly for my taste and I'm not the "retwist my hair every night" kinda girl...too lazy! :lachen: So I tried a different mix of products this week...I took out the DevaCurl and replaced it with Kinkly Curly Curl Creme. I also added the Olive Shine Serum to each section before I twisted/curled it. OMG it is gorgeous!! And it's lasted since Saturday - it's Tuesday now, I haven't retwisted and it looks as good as the first day! The only maintenance I've had to do is wear my satin bonnet at night and this morning I put a little dollop of KCCC in the front to freshen the look, rubbed some shea butter in my hands to emulsify and put a thin layer over the hair and on the ends. Beautiful!! Thanks Nikki!!!!

Hey LM,

In the henna thread you mentioned that henna was making your dry and you didn't know if you were gonna continue. Did you find a mix that works for you? If so that's great! I just started and I love how much stronger and fuller it is making my hair.

Now you know you should be including pictures! I have problems doing twist on wet hair. I'm going to keep trying cause co-washing daily or every other day is a drag!! Once I can accomplish the twists I think the tnc will be easy peasy!
