How long did it take you to go from the BC (twa) to Shoulder Length natural?

I'd say probably about a year or so. I didn't straighten my hair or really do any length checks until a year and a half after I BC'd, so I don't know for sure when I hit SL, but by the time I did straighten it was probably CBL.

I don't have a pic of when I first straightened right now, but here is the BC pic.

Do you mean SL with shrinkage or without? Anyway, I'm not SL yet, but I am very close 5 months post BC. My last strait hair pic I took my hair is about 2 and a half inches from SL. I can't believe how fast my hair is growing. I'm going to attempt another strait style this week end and try to post pics. I think by a year I can say I'll reach SL. I won't say full SL because some parts of my hair is longer than the other. I think you will be pleasantly surprised on how your hair grows. I wish I had done a longer transition, but my hair was so damaged, I didn't see the point of waiting. BC when you are ready.

From my last relaxer until shoulder length in back--about a year. Wasn't full shoulder.

I took a year for me to go from bald to full shoulder length (in the back). However, I didn't achieve armpit length a year later. So, one year to go from bald to full shoulder length and two (?) years to go from full shoulder length to full armpit length.

BC'd to a TWA neck length when stretched
neck length to collar bone- 4 months after BC when straight/stretched
collarbone to shoulder length l-6 months after BC when straight/stretched
SL-APL exactly one year from my BC I am currently FULL APL when straight/stretched which is SL curly

I also did the MJ thing. It took me 15 months. Shave down 2/08 and I am finally full sl. the pic in siggy is 3/08 and 3/09.

My first time being natural, it was the growout phase from 3 months to 1 year that made me become a long term transitioner this time around. (the short round afro was not a good look on my round face..i need some length) I have been transitioning now for 14 months and if I BC'd my hair, I would be at shoulder length.

Well stretched hair:: it took me from BC(just touching my neck stretched..2in) to May 6st- SL stretched(maybe 5in)..My front is definitely not SL

So i guess thats less then 4mths but it will make it 4mths today
