i have used s curl with great results, but i want something a little different.something creamy and rich!! lol

thanks nonie girl, hope all is good with you :)

If you are looking for creamy and rich you should try Qhemet's Amla and Olive Heavy Cream. It is the creamiest moisturizer I have ever used and it makes my hair feel so soft! I use it on wet hair at night and wake up to soft hair in the morning!

At the bold: it is, thanks.

Pray do tell, why do you want to mess with a good t'ing if S Curl's working??? :look: See, this how setbacks are born. Fixing what isn't broken. :nono:

Now if something's missing, then please carry on searching. But if you're content, I say sitcho b.u.t.t. down someplace before you hurt yourself.

Thank you for this post! I needed to hear that in those same words even though you weren't talking to me! lol

I use plain ole V05, glycerin and water for moisture.

Hmm... I've heard a lot about Qhemet. But I just jumped on the Karen's Body Beautiful bandwagon. I gotta tell yall... I LOVE LHCF but you ladies sure do know how to tempt the PJ in me!! :drunk:

how much are you willing to spend???

i love the Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier but it's $8
but i use that on twist outs...
on twists and for daily maintenance i alternate between my shea mix and Alaffia
Shea & Virgin Coconut Enriching Hair Lotion ($13)

i love love love oyin whipped pudding. that stuff is amazing. it works on wet and dry hair and it gives amazing curl definition. when i use this my hair stays soft and moisturized all day long. some products after a couple of hours my hair feels thirsty so i'll go to the bathroom and run my hands under the cold water and then through my hair. but whipped pudding keeps my hair moist all day long. and its all natural and really thick.

i keep hearing great stuff about this :lick: it sounds yummy!!

i don't mind the cost, just something lovely that will moisturise my tresses and leave them bouncy and happy, its like s curl is not penetrating anymore, i need something that is not gonna just sit on my hair strands!!

this stuff sounds great, i will be looking in to it!! thank you

Ms Kitty Butter:grin:

never heard of this, links please ;)

qhemet amla and olive is the ish, I love it! However, I am a poor college student and I do not love the price nor the 2 week waiting period -_-;

Water is my favorite moisturizer. In fact as soon as I get my new wig I'm planning to do a personal water only challenge for a couple of weeks.

Yes.
It is Awesome.... However..................The price goes up... and the quantity goes down....

Not a good look..........:nono:

I ran out of S Curl and the PJ in me bought a couple of other things because they were out of it :wallbash: so I got Hollywood Beauty carrot creme and have been putting that on my hair this last week.. I gotta say that stuff is awesome..there was two on the shelf and I only got one :perplexed, should have gotten both of them. This makes my stresses feel better than the SCurl.

Nexxus Humectress with coconut or castor oil. I've tried many, many a thing but this always does the trick.

Here's a list of different moisturizers I like to use (not all at once) on my natural hair for non-straight styles:
Aussie Moist Conditioner
World of Curls Curl Activator Moisturizer
African Royale BRX Braid Spray
Cantu Leave-in Conditioning Repair Cream
Parnevu T-Tree Growth Creme

When I wear my natural hair straightened, I just use Proclaim Emerald Bergamot grease.

yeah i ordered the sample size and was amazed but i make minimum wage as a work study student and like 20 bucks for a couple of ozs was def not a god look. now i just use s curl, whatever dc im using (curently ao) on the ends and seal with coconut oil and pigtail bun. not that great but it gets the job done

I agree with the QB Alma & Olive Heavy cream as well as her Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm. I mixed those two together for twists this past weekend (based on recommendations I've read), and it's now 3 days later and my hair still feels like cotton.

I also love the Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk. I use this sometimes after washing/conditioning as a leave in....and believe me this will allow the comb to slip through the thickest/most coarse hair. This was very surprising to me as the consistently makes you think that it's for finer or silkier hair types.
