I agree - I see lots of dark people from Mali & Senegal here in Paris and they do have the most beautiful, deep, rich-looking skin. I always feel compelled to reach out and touch them.
On that note, msa is indeed quite lovely.

it was very beneficial (IMO) to have black men as friends first...they will tell you what's up on the honest front... sometimes it's not what is on the outside that is the issue... sometimes its an issue emanating from within when one doesn't realize it... the men can see it, but you can't...

When I first started posting I had another pic up...in a yellow scarf...that actually was the day I found the hair board. My hair has grown a bit since this pic, but it's not all that obvious unless it's stretched out. My fro's still pretty much look the same.
As soon as I get some conditioner I'm gonna do a bantu knot out and put up a pic because that'll show the growth a little bit.
Don't hide your hair away! Let it be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I posted somewhere earlier, I don't have much of a skin regimen. I have bad acne and acne scars which I think are kind of hidden by my dark skin color. I usually wash with cetaphil, use the cetaphil body cream as lotion, and I wear SPF 45 sunblock every day. I also do bentonite like once a week (when I'm not being lazy).
I really think the lighting/flash makes my skin look a little better than it does in real life.
