I've been taking CHL since Feb, and have also recently become an Egglette. I posted about better skin, reduction in sweating, etc from CHL. Since adding the WL cocktail, I have noticed my body becoming more lean from my exercise, aswell as better skin and THICK new growth - I'm waiting with baited breath for my boobies to reach the cup runneth over stage, LOL!

I know that both have had a positive effect. These responses are making for very interesting reading, thanks OP.

I've been a lurker on both the Chlorella and egg threads for sometime now. I have seen some great results from both - lovely nails, lots more energy, weightloss without trying due to junk food suddenly becoming unattractive to me and no more brain fog to mention but a few.

Ideally I would have liked to vote for BOTH as I think they compliment each other. If I had to choose between the two though, it would have to be Chlorella as it has improved my overall health so much.

If I replace the wheat germ oil with flax oil and cut out the wheat germ, would i still be getting the same benefits? Just wondering? I already take flax oil daily, and I was guessing if they both have the same benefits in this particular shake?

I think I noticed the health benefits from chlorella faster than the egg shake I ran out of chlorella so I started the egg shake. I had more energy and growth with chorella

I take chlorella and I drink the shake and love them both. The shake is awesome for breakfast. It keeps me full until lunchtime. I usually have my chlorella at night in a green smoothie. I started them both around the same time so I can't necessarily separate the benefits. Just in my mind, the shake is for my hair, and I actually see chlorella as something for my overall body and health although I know the shake benefits the whole body also. I guess I see it this way since I was already going towards a raw and superfood diet. But I would recommend them both to anyone unless they're allergic. I have my mother on the shake and I tried to get my dad on chlorella although his stomach was too sensitive:nono: I did just win a cousin over to chlorella though:yep:

Anyway. I would say to give them both a try. Some days I'm too busy in the morning and I might miss my shake, but I still get my green smoothie with the chlorella in at night and vice versa.

As for benefits. I feel an overall increased sense of well being. My skin is prettier. My nails are longer and stronger. My hair is thicker. I know that it's growing but it's hard to measure length since I haven't straightened since January. I wouldn't be surprised if I keep this shake and chlorella in my life forever.

These are my sentiments exactly, MB. Thanks for posting.

I purposely made the poll so you could only choose between the two

Oh then I should quit being a libra weighing both sides, and choose. I choose Chlorella and not just because I made a thread about it but because it really does EVERYTHING it says.

It can supplement all the amino acids, and has protein that eggs have at a HIGHER more digestible amount. Meaning that meat is only processed 20 percent by the body. The rest goes in your poo. With chlorella all the protein is processed at 85-over 90 percent (depending on how well the cell wall is cracked and how you take it). So almost all the protein goes where you need it. You need to eat more meat and eggs to do what a few teaspoons of chlorella can.

In addition, chlorella contains amino acids (all of them) so there's no need to up your vitamins, as well as vitamin B's, and other vits and minerals that the body needs. You can check that out in post #1 and #2 as it lists all the vits. When you start increasing your chlorella, you increase your vitamin intake.

During war times, chlorella was used to keep people in china from starving (I provided an article in the thread about that). Taking chlorella has all the vits and minerals the body needs. (You should still eat, though...we're not in a war starved country).

In addition as it's a real food, like eggs is a real food, and not a vitamin, the body processes it WAY better than it will any vitamin.

The CGF helps the cells to turnover faster resulting in the long nails that you'll probably notice within a WEEK and the hair growth that will come eventually after that. In addition, people have touted looking years younger. And did I mention my hair is THICKER if that is even possible? I mean I already had thick hair, but now it's off the chain (at least for me).

HECK I look a DECADE younger. I get carded for lottery tickets and I'm 30 this year. I maybe looked 26-27 before, but now I look like a teenager. It really tightens up the face, and the skin glows, and the eyes whiten.

In addition for those looking for weight loss, chlorella balances the system. Those that are already the correct weight usually don't lose weight because their system is balanced in that area, but those that aren't, it increases the metabolism.

I went from over 162 to the mid 130's in 3 months and a half.

Yes you have to go through detox, but chlorella is more than worth it.

But Of course I like the eggs too. However, if someone was like "CHOOSE!" I'd have to say chlorella for me.

Either one, though, is an excellent choice.

A week?

You should give any supplement/diet change a month....at least, to evaluate...

:yep:, that's why I owned up to only having been on this for a week [at the time of my posting; two weeks now . . .woooo whooo] and explicitly stated that I am encouraged in an effort to show the vets here that I appreciate them sharing their results and experiences.

Asante sana,

LL

I'd luv to get back to my chl intake, but i guess i wasn't eating 'clean' enuf.?. and i probably overdid it, though i was gradually increasing my grams (til i got the powder and didn't measure acurately). i'm sitting it out for a while, i may have a whole container (yaemella, 2.5 pounds) on the product exchange forum, if i choose not to revisit.

i just got way too ill and it takes a lot of patience to get the benefits. detox is a mug. With the egg cocktail, you just drink away, doesn't take as much forethought and planning and dietary changes and what have you - you can't really over do it.

So I should add Chlorella powder to my egg shake ?? or take the pills?
Does it have taste?

i take them seperately :)

i take the chlorella powder!!! it is your choice if you prefer the powder or the pills :)

some do not like the taste, but it is cool to me :yep:

This must be the truth. I already look younger than I am and twice, my guy friend has asked me what I'm doing because I look 16 years old. I've caught him looking at me hard and then saying "wow. you look like 16" as he shakes his head.

So I'm a greenie and eggie for life.
