Your hair is beautiful.
What temp did you use on the flat iron?
When I flat iron, it does not come out silky smooth like that.
When I got it done at the salon the results looked like yours but I felt she used too much heat.

I'm going to get beaten for this but um...410.

When I use lower heat it takes more passes to straighten, so I don't really feel like I'm saving my hair from anything. :perplexed When I used it on the high temp it takes literally ONE pass. I only started using that heat setting when I started using the Sabino b/c in the directions he says to use that temp and with that as my heat protectant I've never had any heat damage. Please take that with a grain of salt though, b/c everyone's hair is different.

You might be able to get the same results on a lower temp so long as you use the comb-chase method - that's made a HUGE difference in my end results, especially the ends. :yep:

it turn out great. You and hair is pretty. Love the thickness of it. How long did it take for you to straighten and what did you use?

I posted the process on pg two I think? I'll add it to my initial post to make it easier to find.

The whole thing, from DC to Voila happened over a span of like 4 days LOL. I have attention span issues. I would normally do it over two days, b/c I like to air dry.

The actual flat ironing was like an hr and a half.

Beautiful! :gorgeous: Your hair is thick and healthy! You did a great job flat ironing! :yep:

So very pretty! Looks like your transition is going well. Congrats on your progress!!

Thanks. I think it is the heat setting. I do use the comb chase method but I use 300 to 325 on my regular flat iron and a 1 or 2 with the maxiglide.
