I'm just trying to take it step by step.

I sent her a very friendly email asking her to remove my photos.
Her response was to call the salon and then believe them over me.
I respond back with proof that the pictures are mine.
I get no response.
I sent an additional response.
No reply.
Then banned from the site.

I also sent an email to the website at Charlie Trendi.
No response.

Now, I've opened a ticket with Ning. I'll see what they do.

This is ludicrous! I would put an ad in their local newspaper exposing them, email a local news station that handles consumer complaints, post an ad on Craigslist etc.

Is it time to start bombarding them!!??? Let me know if I can do something!!

It seems your email worked since they emailed Lucky's Mom saying ((her)) pics would be removed. :drunk:

I am not totally shocked that the salon stole my pictures and lied.

I am honestly more appalled at the response(or lack of response) by the owner of that E'tae business and site.

What can you do? WATERMARK!

What's up with all the stealing pictures? Geez...I'm sorry this happened to you HairLove! Don't back down have them remove it, that is a violation of your personal property.
 
Thats crazy.. A couple of the pictures the used were from magazines and one is from a pantene ad

My bad..i sent a pm with the salon info.:nono: This is a trip because Charlie is a star philly stylist. It makes me question a salon's website pics.
 
THis just recently happened to me too. It was on a blog. A picture that was 8 years old that I had given permission to use for another website. THat website let someone else copy it. I got it rectified but imagine my shock when I was reading the blog and saw my mug and hair as an example! And the fact that the picture was REALLY OLD was the kicker.

I never thought to watermark. How horrible.

Oh - no, are you guys kidding me? The pictures are still there??

If someone can send me the overall link as well as the individual link or even if you could get the actual link from the picture itself, I will follow up with ning. Ning wouldn't accept my complaint b/c the pictures had moved and I had thought they were gone and that's why. So, since I am banned, I can't even check it out myself. Argghh. :wallbash:

By the way - the email I sent to the salon bounced. Great.

This is so unbelievable!
