Hello, all! I'm tired, hungry and beat down and only Lord knows why. This constant rain should've dropped the pollen count, but I'm still a little sneezy, but I wanted to share this before I konked out for the night!
I'm too tired to summarize for a whole story, so I'll just do bullet points.
-I came early (12:30, my appt was 1), so we were able to start early... for her to take four and a half hours!
-It was in a really small basement, not a salon, and she had vaguely ho-ish glamor shots of herself and a friend - tight jean skirt, booties poppin' AND a picture of her adorable baby girl covered in money!
And she really can swear, too.
-She took her sweet time, but did put on a few movies for me to watch and spent about half an hour just finding the right bootleg on the internet.
-Didn't use black thread for some stupid reason but a really ugly, dookie brown and didn't part my hair the way I wanted to (I plan to have this fixed this weekend - it shouldn't be too hard)
-But she talked her way through what she was doing and how to wash and care for my hair underneath, which was good.
Overall, I'd rate the experience a B- for my first time. Environment aside, I think she did a great job and at 35$, I'm far from complaining. I've found a way to situate my hair to part my bang how I want, so I'll have a friend help me with that. The hair blends really nicely, although I think I want it shorter than how I had her cut it. It's tight, but it doesn't hurt any and I'm not tenderheaded, so I think I'm okay.
