My friend thinks she'll have to get human hair to braid, but she prefers synthetic to try it out. Any ideas for both? What brand and style name should she get?

I'm not sure but it's a cute hairstyle. Her stomach looks like she's had a lot of kids but at least it's flat :look:.

I think that synthetic hair will probably be best since she wont be combing or brushing it. That way she'll be able to try it out and not pay as much for it as the human hair HTH.

:bump:

She wants to buy the hair today after she picks her daughter up from school. She also carrying her 2-month old with her to the bss, so she really wants to know what brand and style she needs ahead of time.

She's thinking she could start tonight and finish tomorrow before the weekend. Her schedule might not work if she has to buy human hair since the braids will be smaller. (She's 1 year post relaxer and hasn't decided whether to relax again or go natural again.)

Please help! I know nothing about braids. :dork:

:orders: Calling all past, present and future braid/weave experts!

Don't leave me hanging! I had no update when she called, so I guess she'll have to push it back a day or two until she gets more info from me or another friend she asked.

Off to check a few websites and pm 2 people I think might know.

Thanks in advance! :)

Dreamweaver makes short curly hair like that. I wore Water Wave before and it looked similar. I bought some similar recently but it I think it was by Outre. I may have paid $9.99 a pack but it was called "Bohemian Curl". I brushed it out so it would look full. I used it for weave though but you can just cut the hair off the track and braid with it.

ETA: Glance Model Model also has some similar synthetic hairs. I had one called "Diva Flow" or "Diva Coil" before that looked similar. I've also heard good things about Batik synthetic hair but I only recall seeing longer styles.

Sorry I just read your post. I don't know what synthetic brand will yield this look but Wagman's Primus deep Curl will give her this look with human hair..Google wagman's hair..and it's the deep curl.. Good luck to the new mommie.

Big thanks to you!!!

I'm going to call her right now. Maybe it's not too late for her to take the kids back outside.

Glam & Cicily - She said to tell you thanks. She'll probably go in about 30 min...if she doesn't lose her mind helping her daughter with math homework.

She'll pick up a latch hook too just in case she has to cut the hair off the track and it's too short. (I was surprised she knew how to do that.)

I knew LHCF wouldn't let me down.
