Last night I decided to try pincurls again after watching a YouTube video on how to pin curl your flips (my current do).

Here they are after sleeping:

Here they are after unpinning...

My hair needs washing so the ends are a bit frizzier than I would like, but all in all, I'm pleased with the results!

I will definitely do this again...

That came out so pretty. The 'do has a lovely, dressed-up retro feel to it. Please post a link to the tutorial you followed.

I am going to try and pin curl my hair. I was going to try the flexi rods this weekend, but your hair makes me want to try a curly bob.

Seriously, I gotta know......is there any hairstyle that has turned out bad on you??? You have so much variety and it all looks good........if you could see my face it is green, because I am JEALOUS!!!!

You are so sweet!!!!!

Haven't you figured it out?!?!?! I only post the cute 'dos. LMBO

I can't do braidouts (well I probably could have before I cut, but the one bad experience has made me gun shy).

I don't experiment too much (although I think I'm going to try a bantu knot out this weekend) and I tend to rotate the same 3-4 styles...this flip being one of them.

But thanks so much for the compliments!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty results! My question is how did you sleep on the curls without smashing them flat, and did you use a full satin scarf??

That is very pretty.

How do you roll your hair to get the flip

I rollerset it (using a combo of the mohawk and anchor methods) on pink magnetic rollers (and a few green). I essentially roll my entire hair and hood dry.

You can also do this dry (which I did this week) with some lacio lacio, a spritz or two of my setting lotion mix and sealed with castor oil.
