He Doesn't Know How To Work My Hair!

Wow, it's no coincidence why he would end up combing and snagging my hair after washing it and sitting at the wash bowl.

and she says:

Shampoo commercials are not our friends. Ignore them. They are not for us. Never ever pile your hair on top of your head and grind the shampoo in. All it will do is matt your curls. They tangle enough as it is. Don’t give them a reason to mat.


Why oh why would a licensed beautician pile my hair on top of my head and proceed to scrub the hair together like he is washing a top or some piece of clothing? BTW, my hair is BSL but I can't see this being good for any length.

I love her site!!! It helped me out so much dealing with my dd's hair. I'm sorry you had a bad experience where ever you went and with whomever was handling your hair....

wow?!? how was he able to pile the hair on top of your head? When i get my hair done at the salon they have one of those bowls and the hair stays down (they don't pile it up or anything)

I'm feeling this. It's bad enough that we sometimes get subjected to sub standard service but we're paying for the priviledge too.

I know...And, It's a risk going to the salon... I'd rather risk it myself then thank you
