Probably at Urbanbella on Wieuca. I dont know of any other place, but there are probably more.

Thanks ladies!!!

I'm going to call Urbanbella and Curltopia to check the prices out and schedule an appointment. I tried to shingle my hair once but it didn't work out well...at ALL. lol.....

I figure if someone else can do it for me maybe I'll have better luck learning by watching them do it...

Argh I've been having trouble with Fotki...looks like it's down again. Lemme email them and try to fix it (again). I'll pm u when it's back up...hopefully by tomorrow.

Ok ya'll Urbanbella quoted me shingling as "starting" at $150. NOT in my budget :nono:

Curltopia said $90. Still seems a little stiff...especially since I don't know how long I could keep such a style. Maybe I'll try it myself or get someone I know to try it out on me first....

How about that guy at Campcreek that somebody went to? Sorry to be so unspecific but since Miss Jessie's has a detailed step by step on shingling I am guessing that you could take it to any hairdresser you like and get them to do it. I would probably take the products I wanted them to use.

150 for something that MIGHT last for 3 days:rolleyes:

Exactly!! I was JUST telling my coworker that I'd probably get 2-3 days out of such a style cuz once I sleep on this hair its pretty much over :lachen:

I mean, I have no idea how to get 2nd or 3rd day shingled hair....?

Somehow I'm not surprised. There is a natural hair salon on Austell Road. I'll try & remember to get the name of it the next time I ride by. You also might want to post in the salon thread & see if someone can suggest a natural hair salon that is a little more reasonable.

Also...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g02R7n77kHQ - here is a Miss Jessie's shingling tutorial. I'm sure there are more out there if you just wanna do it yourself. HTH...
