My self relaxer didn’t go according to plan. Help
I tried self relaxing yesterday, but my roots haven’t been straighten, I don’t have a clue what I did wrong. Can someone have a quick look at what I did and suggest the best way to correct it.
I sectioned my hair into fours and based my scalp with Motions scalp protector.
Then cover my relaxed hair with grape seed oil to prevent overlapping.
I used Arcadian clip method and put the clips above the new growth.
I then mix the relaxer (OCR no-lye regular) put the relaxer on to the roots using a tinting brush, squeezed the relaxer through the new growth and smoothed it down using my fingers for 10 mins.
I wash the relaxer out put the Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructor on and sat under the dryer for 5 minuets.
I then washed it and wash my hair 8 times (I got using Isoplus neutralising shampoo).
Then conditioned and roll set my hair.
At the moment my hair feels a little dry and brittle.
