i been self-relaxing for the past 2 yrs now but when I stretch over 3 months I find it difficult to self relax.

About 4 wks ago: i tried self-relaxing: i guess my relaxer was too cold cause it did nothing to my hair whats so ever.

I find sitting the container in hot water before applying helps the relaxer to straighten my hair but between parting the new growth & applying the relaxer is extremely hard & i know it will be painful.

Any advice ladies?......................

I'm self-texlaxed, and I stretch 13/14 weeks (approx. 3 months). When it's time to touchup, I first separate my hair into tiny sections, from ends all the way to the scalp, throughout my entire head. Then I apply the relaxer creme to the new growth of the pre-sectioned areas, by "finding" them with my fingers. This method allows me to move along quickly with the application and smoothing.

I hope my description makes sense to you.
