Since the formula change? How did your hair respond? I ordered some from the DR but they sent me the new formulation and I don't want to be the guinea pig because I have class tomorrow. :look: The only reason I purchased it is because it had gotten such rave reviews.

Um, I bought my Lacio Lacio like 2 months ago. It sucks, makes my hair sticky even when I water it down. GF creamy leave-in was better, even w/o silk proteins.

If you are referring to the one that does not have the mink oil - I have it. I did not have the old version but I really like the this version for my rollersets. My hair feels really soft and has a lot of shine - I also don't need no more than a dime size so it will last for a while

I never used the old version with mink oil either, but i love the "new" one for rollersets. It's light and gives great shine and body

I never tried the old one, but I really like the new version. I didn't at first, because it didn't give me any slip or softness while I was rollersetting. But after my hair dried, it was sooooo soft and light and airy and bouncy :yep:

Wait!! Which new version? There are three versions that I know of now: 1. with the mink oil 2. the same formulation without the mink oil nad 3. A totally new version without silk proteins which uses wheat protein. I've tried and loved the first two.

I'm referring to the one with wheat protein. The formula is completely different from the first 2. The consistency is quite liquidy & runny :ohwell: . I applied a little to my dry hair but it didn't feel moisturizing at all

Here are the ingredients in the newest version:

Ingredients: Water, Methylciclopolyslloxane, Dimethylpolysiloxane, Alcohol Graso C14-C18, Cetrimonium Chloride, (Quaternium 79) Hidrolized Wheat Protein, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Fragrance, DMDM Hidantoine, Methylchlorisothiazolinone/Methylisothiazolinone.

I have used all 3 versions(mink oil, no mink oil and the one with wheat protein) and i liked all 3 of them. they perform the same on my hair.
