Temi, your hair is fab! I am so jealous of the fact you did this yourself.:blush::lachen: I wish I had skills like that with scissors, but I'd end up whacking holes in my head if I tried it.:rolleyes:

:lachen:thats funny. I just went slow and steady. My worst fear was the lobb-sided look. Thank goodness, its kinda round.
Its only been a few hours and I can see the shrinkage. Not sure what to do tonight to go to sleep. I am currently stalking Fotki's to see if I can get any ideas...
 
Congrats!!! That is fantastic growth for a 13 month transition. Your hair looks beautiful.
 
:yep:The thickness is amazing!!!! By the way you mentioned you can't put it in a pony tail? Well your hair is longer than you think, and you can do alot with it. If your cut was as short as mine I don't know what you would do. But I must commend you, I know that took guts to do. I too did my own bc but did not transition as long as you. You did a wonderful job. Enjoy and welcome to the nappy side!!!!!:grin:

Thank you. Im gona experiment with ever few days after each wash to see what can be done with it. I just saw in Honesty's fotki that she did french braids and that stretched her hair enough to put it in a ponytail.
i am still excited though...
