I'm exactly 11 weeks into my transition, I can't believe how much I love my new growth!!!

It's so funny, when I was only stretching my relaxers, I didn't really pay attention to the texture of my new growth - only the length!

Now I love love love the texture and I'm so impatient for it to growwww so I can BC already!

1st pic is dry hair at 10 weeks post
2nd is wet hair at 11 weeks post

Both are centre parts - from my forehead towards my neck, excuse the different orientations :-)

Oooohhhhh :lovedrool: So nice. Although I'm not BC'ing, I now see why some people can't help themselves and big chop early.

I was disgusted with my new growth when I was stretching but I guess my mentality changed when I decided to transition and now I can't stop looking at it either. At first my purpose was to wear straight styles mostly but now I think I'll be doing mostly textured styles.

Lol, thanks :-)

I'm loving my rollersets and braidouts - although I don't do them as often as I'd like

Good luck during your transition :-)

Awwwwwwwwwwwww ... your new growth is just sooooooo cute and curly. I just wanna boing them. :yep:

I hope you like being natural.

Is your transitioning style cornrolls at the moment? It looks very nice and your hair is so moisturized.

Thank you, that means so much coming from someone with gorgeous hair like yours.

I was natural for a year between 2002 and 2003 but I always had my hair combed out and got a little bored with it. I think this time around, with all the knowledge I've been gathering, it will be soooo much better :-)

Thanks for the compliment. :yep:

I didn't know you were natural before. Well I certainly wish you luck on this transition.

Thanks... I need it. I think that now is the time for me to be doing something with more curls. Laying down my roots with a scarf is not cute anymore while I still have relaxed strands. My hair is nape length so I want to make sure I don't end up looking like I have a bush. Keep up the great progress.

Heyyy transitioning buddy!! We have the same texture too! I am falling in love with my NG also. Isn't it marvelous lol?

I'm so jealous.Your ringlets look just like mine. I've been too chicken to completely transition. You're my inspiration and I'll be watching you. Good luck.
