Im in love with New Growth

I am so in love with my new growth...I just love to see it popping up out of my folicles...It gives me such inspiration just to see that my hair is actually growing. I know its growing but to see that it is growing is even better..Who else loves their New Growth?

Yes...I'm the same way...I like how my new growth feels once it gets to a certain point...I can't keep my hands out of it....it lets me know that my hair is growing and the natural texture of it is amazing.

It was the same for me. Before LHCF, I hated new growth. Now, I just can't wait to see it.

I never even knew what my natural hair looked like before this site. Stretching has really allowed me to see my natural texture, and I love it. Before LHCF, I'd relax at 6 weeks. Now that I think back, I wonder what the heck was I relaxing? I barely had any new growth!

I love my NG too, lol. Was just taking pics of it the other day cause I'm a dork! I'm into week 10 now of my supposed 12 week stretch... I'm sad to say good bye to my NG, lol but I know more will follow later, lol.

I'm 6.5 weeks post and I can't keep my hands out of it.

Even now, it's wrapped up and covered by a satin scarf. I've been playing with the new growth that I can feel up in the middle where the wrapped hair forms the circle.

Pathetic, I know.

It was the same for me. Before LHCF, I hated new growth. Now, I just can't wait to see it.

Me too, before lhcf i used to hate my ng. I love that this site has taught me to appreciate and love the fact that my hair is growing. Most importantly i love my curl pattern. Sometimes i can't keep my hands out of my head (my ng is sooo soft!) or keep parting my hair in different sections just to glimps in the mirror at my curl pattern. Thank you ladies at lhcf!!!

I also love seeing NG. This makes me wonder what I was thinking years ago. I would get a touch up at the sight of NG...oh the Horror!!...LOL. I am almost 100% natural so, I don't really notice it anymore. I just look at my ends and maintain them.

Me too!!! I stretched for 6 months last year, and once i was past the scab hair phase, I could not keep my hands out of my ng. Makes me think about transitioning...sometimes!

I love my NG so much that I'm often thinking about transitioning. Then I snap back to reality and think about how much time I don't have to style it and such.

Most of the oils I put on my scalp end up on my elbows because I keep playing with the NG! I had a friend playing in it the other evening.

I think when I relaxed at the sight of new growth it was really because it wasn't soft and managable. Now I'm thinking how long will I stretch to see my curl pattern!

AMEN!!! I'm loving new growth and at times I find myself looking in the mirror and finding a well defined coil somewhere in this bush LOL and I'll pull it and watch it go BOOOINGGGG!

Viva La New Growth! Back in the day my new growth used to make my head hurt and itch. Of course I thought "time for the ol' touch up". When really all the new growth wanted was to be washed and deep conditioned!!! Now I stroke my new growth to calm my nerves, weird huh?

i'm in love with my new growth! especially since i've finally found what products work for me... this is the first time my new growth is exclusively coming out in beautiful coffee stirrer-sized coils, instead of naps!

i've got this one coil i play with in the middle of the back of my head. it's about 2" long unstretched... i could play with it all day... i'm playing with it now, lol

LOL I thought I was the only one obsessed with their NG. I have serious HIH syndrome after 6 weeks post. Sometimes I want to go natural because the pattern is so cute buuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttt I don't wana BC and I wear straight styles
