I know a lot of the ladies here would wish shampoo a slow and painful death, but I loves it.
There is no better feeling than a clean head.
Well actually, I can think of a few :giggle:

My favorite is Creme of Nature Sunflower and Coconut.
It de-tangles and leaves my hair super soft :lick:
I love bubbles and I've noticed that my hair does better when its cleaned twice a week.

What's your favorite and what does it do for you?

I love to shampoo, co-washing is not for me..I have to shampoo, but I use NTM, and natural shamppo, I also use Vatika Shampoo, and I love it, co-washing made my hair feel weird.....I like to shampoo and will shampoo until whenever, my hair grew when I shampoo, I just have to use the right shampoo......but I pre-poo before I dry hair deep condition, then I shampoo..but I know what you mean though.........

I do like shampoo but i have learned to always choose the gentlest ones....my fave is aphogee for damaged hair...is so creamy and gentle

I have too many conditioners to mention, but only four shampoos - phtyojoba (moisturizing), phytoneutre (clarifying), and phytorhum (protein), and ors aloe (chelating). I love, love, love them. As was mentioned, I too love the clean hair/scalp feeling. I most often use Phytojoba which is very mild leaves my hair silky and moisturized; when I rinse, my hair almost feels as if I am rinsing conditioner instead of shampoo. The others I use at different times during the month.

A couple years ago, someone once posted about the Phyto Creme Bath that uses the phytoneutre and phytorhum - the process is from a salon in Covent Garden, and the process sounded so great, I've been using it since. My hair loves it, and I love the pampering time I give to myself.

I like co-washing, something I do more frequently in summer than in winter, but I love my shampoos.

I love shampoo, too! I feel like we're in a secret society. Oooh!

Anyway, I love Giovanni Smooth as Silk, Kenra MC, and Motions CPR Treatment Shampoo, when I need x-tra cleaning.

I do not understand people that only cowash. Cowashing makes my hair feel like it's not clean enough.

i love abba pure moisture shampoo. even though it has no sls, it lathers well and leaves my hair clean and not stripped. it has transformed my hair. seriously:grin:

I love love shampoo. I enjoy the process of washing my hair. My favorites

NTM
Neutrogena Clean- clarifying
Keracare (detangling, itchy scalp)
CON
Aphogee

Naked Naturals Orange shampoo

Smells like tic tacs, sulfate free, thick and lathers well, leaves my hair clean and soft, has vegetable protein so it also gives me a light fortifying effect

my faves are:
aphogee for damaged hair
paul mitchell the wash
redken all soft
cream of nature red lable
silk elements

Me too...I just can't get into co-washing..it is like bathing with lotion!

I use the Nexxus Therappe, Aloe Rid (clarifying), Botanoil, Diametress, Kenra MS, Phytneutre (clarifying), CON

I would like to try Aphogee for Dry/Damaged, Keracare Detangling, New Version of CON, etc

I dunno - I think it is something about the lather that seems to validate that my hair is getting clean - especially since I prepoo (alot)

My fav of all time is Sedal, but I can only get it off the internet and it isn't worth that much effort.

My list of ones I like is:
-Pantene (I think it's called ice shine or midnight shine) because it does what it promises, makes my hair shiny.
-Infusium 23
Makes my hair thick and soft.
-Elasta Qp
Makes my hair soooo soft and shiny.
Basically the only form of PJism I suffer from is shampoos.
:drunk: I have so many, but my rule is that once I buy it I can't throw it away, so I have about 4 bottles of shampoos that I hate that I still have to use.:nono:

Long Lovely Locks Green Tea Hair Cleanse...it is hella expensive, but that is the only organic/natural shampoo that I can get down with.

For straight hair, I use Oscar Blandi Alla Crema.

You can use them up as:

  • shower gel
  • wash makeup brushes with it
  • clean shower and sink
  • liquid handsoap
Don't torture your tresses with poo you don't like. :naughty:

I love shampoo. I only use sulfate free formulas. My faves are CON original formula and Cristophe Purely Natural.

Gymfreak, that sounds yummy! Where do you get it?

I see some of you don't like to co-wash..well, I love both.
I co-wash each and every day, sometimes twice.
Love the feeling of water on my scalp and my hair is super thirsty :yep:

I have 4 bottles of it and the matching conditioner. I also have the lavender ones, I just bought those but I haven't used them yet. I think you will like it. Let me know if you try it.

What's your favorite and what does it do for you?

I don't really have a favorite, but I agree with you that I couldn't live w/o my shampoos. I love the gel looking kind especially because I feel as if creamy ones have a coating "feeling" to them, and will usually use them mainly on my hair--like after Emergencee (eg Therappe, Elucence, NTM). Now clear shampoos like Trader Joe's Nourish Spa and Tingle, or Garnier Fructis or (is it Giovani?)...I LOVE for my scalp. I apply them directly to my scalp for a good thorough massage to clean, and then squeeze them through my hair during the rinse.

I mainly muse NTM Dry Scalp Soothing, occasionally Johnson's Baby Shampoo, and for clarifying Ion Claraifying (can't remember the exact name, but I mentioned it the other day when I was responding to the board about clarifying).

#1. Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Poo -(No sulfates & so moisturizing)
#2. Keracare Hydrating - (So moisturizing)

oh, i just used nexxus aloe rid to clarify last wash. it worked really well - my hair is back but it has sls, so i'm looking for a clarifying shampoo that doesn't. any recommendations?

Duh, why didn't I think of that??!! Good idea! Now I can get rid of those ones I hate and buy some new ones to try...ummm, I think I need an intervention!:lachen:

For clarifying I like the neutrogena in the tiny bottle. Not nearly as harsh as other clarifiers.

How do you like the Oscar Blandi? I've read really good things about it.

I like to co-wash, but I still need to use shampoo too a couple times a week;otherwise, I just don't feel my scalp is clean. If I co-wash only, my scalp gets itchy, really, really itchy.

I like it. It makes my hair shiny and quenched. It doesn't provide any slip though. I'd try a sample from Sephora first before buying it.

I love shampoo too...washing my hair is soooo therapeutic. My favorite (discontinued ) is Aveda Sap Moss.
