Woman's weave stops bullet

So my boss, who happens to be caucasian, comes into my office to see if I'd heard about this story. I had not at the time so she commenced to laugh her head off and tell me that a woman got shot in the head but survived because of her hair weave---looks at my wig. :ohwell:

So I'm like, "Really"? She's dying laughing and says "Yea, and apparently she had this weave in her head for 20 years. Can you imagine the stench?" I'm like, "huh"? :nono: She then says, like, "Why didn't she put on a wig like you do, at least you can wash your hair, right?" By this time I am about to lay her out, surprised I had not by this point (darned recession).

In any case, after I read the article I kindly went into her office and asked her where on earth she heard this this young lady had a weave in her head for 20 years. I pointed out that the young lady was 20 and I highly doubt she has been rockin a weave since birth. :perplexed Of course she tried to make it seem like that's what she'd read. No boo boo, you didn't. :wallbash:
 
Lol, I am just mad the girl said she invested a lot of money in her weave. NO YOU DID NOT!

I just listened to the clip posted and the lady does say she has had that weave for 20 years. She says she invested alot of money in it and has had it for 20 years.
Maybe she meant she takes it down and reuses it or something.
 
She says that she has been wearing the weave for years and she has invested a lot of money in it.

She does not say anything about wearing it for 20 years. It mathematically wouldn't make since.

I am glad that she didn't get injured regardless to what her weave looks like.
