Tell me what you think?

Before...disregard the jacka$$ that is sitting next to me in the picture.

After: I wanted to cut my remaining relaxed ends, now I'm 100% natural.YAY!

I guess its not too bad. I was fearful that it would look mullet-ish

Your hair is gorgeous and thick... great job. So you transitioned for a very long time, didn't you???

Girl, it was longer than Gone With the Wind:lachen:. what I did I transitioned from relaxed to texlax for 2 years and then from texlax to natural. Now I have a born-again virgin hair, as my sister calls it. That process was worth it. my hair is super healthy, and I like my texture. If only my family would like it.

It has lots of body and frames your face really well.Congrats on being natural. How long did you transition? Do you have alot of shrinkage?

You did a very nice job!

Okay, you look awfully familiar and I see you're in Texas. Do I know you perhaps? :scratchch
(I'm in the Dallas area)

Way to go! You have such patience and courage to go through such a long process. You could do it because you had a strong vision about being natural and were willing to pay the price even during those really incovenient, crazy-looking hair days! You beautiful, thick, healthy mane is the reward.

Thanks. I'm still learning new things about my hair. Sometimes I do think about relaxing all the time. I call going natural, a hair diet :lachen:. But I'm not getting discouraged and hopefully anyone who wants to go natural won't either. I say just have patience, take baby steps and have a clear plan of what you are going to do...3, 6, 8 months for now. And most importantly, don't get discourage if your hair isn't like Alicia Keys or Jill Scott, there are plenty of Fotkis for you to look at of ppl with your same hair.

 Real nice! I cut my DD's relaxer off in October. I think I did okay, so when its my turn (maybe this time next year), I will cut mine too.

My DD talked me down from the ledge yesterday. I'm so glad she did. I DC'ed and spiral set it. And I'm cool now.
Can't wait to be where you are.

Wow! If I did'nt know any better I swore it looks like you're sporting a wig! Your hair is super thick and very healthy looking. I must say you did a wonderful job:yep:
