I didn't like my bone combs at first because they were kind of scary looking to me. Now I truly believe these combs are even better than the K kutter for detangling my hair. They are good for my hair both in and out of the shower. This is the only comb where I've attampted to detangle on dry hair and did not have any hairs shed. I really like them.

I have a bone comb and just recently bought a jilbere shower comb. I used to my bone comb on my wet hair but after recently using my jilbere that works a whole lot better. I still continue to use my bone comb on moisturized hair.

I like my bone comb very much, I brought it from hairsense. I never really had any problems with the woman. I have brought two combs and three denman brushes the brushes were a problem I was paying 25.00 dollars a pop and then I wanted a flat paddle brush and it was 15.00 dollars plus 5 for shipping. I asked her if she would cut the shipping down and she did but she did not send me an email or notice or anything in the package she just sent the package. Kind of like she was mad. I didnt' care I saved money and I got all my stuff. I will order bone comb again from her but she is expensive. I have two and thats enough for now. I like it a lot I don't comb my hair with anything else.

I have both and love both. I agree with the ladies that said the Jilbere is bettr on wet hair. (I wouldn't be without either one of them if I could help it.)

I love my bone combs I prefer them to the Jibere. I use them to comb my leave-ins through post wash and while rollersetting. When combing my hair in the shower I luse this rake comb from Sally's:

I'm all excited b/c I was in Sally's the other day and someting said, "Hey, Mestiza, go down the comb aisle." Usually, I don't b/c I've been satisfied w/ my Jilbere Shower Comb. I have passed by that Jumbo Rake Comb that you posted above hundreds of times, but something made me buy it that day. I'm so glad that I did and wish that I had bought it a long time ago. It's FANTASTIC!!!

Oooh, I'm so glad you like it Mestiza! It's perfect for long hair. I think I got mine for 99 cents, it was crazy. Once I fell in love with it, I promptly bought another just to have as a backup.

I got mine for $.99, also. :) You are right! It's so perfect for long hair. I have a head full of new growth b/c I'm transitioning and combing is a breeze. I'm going to buy a few more, myself. :yep:

I love the bone comb because the teeth are sharper thus getting thru my hair easier. I also like the k- cutter.

I have coarse, natural 4ab hair. I use the heavy rake bone comb. It doesn't break it moves through my hair like nobody's business. I paid $18 for it. Best investment I have made.

I've had combs similar to the Jilbere comb and the little bubbles on the ends of those combs have broken off - not good for the hair. Also, no matter how wide a regular comb is, if it is not seamless, then it always takes out a lot more hair than a bone comb. I've found bone combs to be worth the investment. I've been using bone combs from www.hairsense.com. I've heard her ebay (her ebay store is Salon Accessories, Inc.) is cheaper. The combs where good, but she is expensive and her shipping is even more expensive. So when I needed another bone comb I ordered from www.tenderheaded.com. I haven't used them yet, so I cant vouch for them. Also, apparently Mason Pearson makes seamless combs.

Thanks for the websites! I'm ordering ASAP!

Thanks for the links. I will be checking them out. I don't have any of these combs so I am indeed curious about them.

I'm convinced the bone comb broke my hair off in the back at the nape. I'l stick with my MEBCO for detangling.:yep:

I have a Mebco and its amazing!!!!!! I don't know why i never bought one before last month. I don't use anything else but that for detangling.

 so nobody's reppin' the Mason Pearson seamless combs? I expected at least one MP girl.

....I'm just looking for an excuse to buy them.:lachen:

***waving hand wildly***Ummm....I guess I'm your excuse...LOL! I do and have been using them for 10, 15...lets just say MANY yrs! My grandmother bought me my first one and I haven't turned back!!!

ETA: I hate bone combs, seems like they just "tear/rip" hair.
