To a product that you absolutely love now??

or technique or whatever

Tell us who it was, what it was and why you love it

and give them your special thanks and gratitude right now , right here:yep:

Thanks JustKiya for the Kiyafizzle. I almost cut off 2 inches of my 4bfine relaxed strands. They were soooo dry after air drying. My daughter said "just moisturize" first. To me, they looked damaged beyond repair. As my last (and only) resort, i tried the Kiya fizzle and added sea salt to a handful of condish. I still have my ends, so thanks JustKiya

Ateyaa from youtube turned me to Chi Silk infusion and i LOVE IT !!!!
a staple for me:)

Great topic, Iris!:yep:

I would like to thank Beverly for starting this site. I'm sure many sisters would agree that this site has truly been a blessing! RabiaElaine, for suggesting that I check out this site.

I love Ayurvedic powders and oils:

I would like to thank Vestaluv for sharing her comparison pics. (This is what sparked my interest in Ayuveda). LongHairDontCare for posting information about mixing the powders with conditioners. I would also like to thank all of the sisters that share info about Ayurveda hair care.

You, Iris!! Thank you so much for the tea-rinsing method. I didn't want to try the coffee and I would've never thought of tea as being an excellent alternative...My shedding has been halted!

Also, JustKiya, thank you for the JKFizzle method. My hair has been so soft since using this method!

JustKiya--using salt WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patricia--not so much a specific product but more so incorporating protein because my hair craves it.

adriana (thomasadrianna) from youtube turned me back on to Garnier Fructis. She also gave me the encouragement to stop using Aphogee. :look:
Traycee turned me on to glycerin & rosewater, and mixing essential oils. Helps when I need a boost of moisture & when I am pre-pooing.
Macheriamour ( aka Gennifer Miller) turned me on to Elasta QP Mango Butter & Olive Oil Sheen Spray, and the Healthy Textures Guide to Roller-Setting DVD! Rollersets & Saran Wrap =Lots of body & bounce, plus I save money by doing my own sets at home.

Thanks, ladies!!!
Great thread!

**Que*** turned me on to castor oil. She talked about it when she was FOTM and she always gives good reviews in all the castor oil threads. I tried it and I loved it. She's one of my hair idols.

SamanthaJones67 posted the perfect recipe for the caramel treatment. It works like a charm. Love it!

Naturalgurl for her use of all natural products. Not fake natural products like AO or Giovanni. Going through her fotki really encouraged me and now I love everything natural and I'm never going back.

I don't know who it was the turned me on to the baking soda/warm water mix for shampooing, but I love it and I'll use it forever. Especially since I haven't seen another shampoo that's cheaper.

A big thank you to everyone!

JustKiya - KiyaFizzie
SamanthaJones - steam!
The Hairveda Crew :) - vatika frosting, etc.

Avocado butter as seen in YOUR fotki!!! Thanks so much!!! I never really found a product that my hair loved (correct moisture and softness). I tried shea butter and it was okay when mixed with the correct products...but when I found avocado butter...oooo weee lol..it's goodness in jar all by itself lol...so thanks so much Irresistible!!! :)

You and another lady im sorry i forgot her name. You ladies were in the archives when i was looking for different butters. That's when i found avocado and hemp seed butter. I love these 2 butters makes the hair nice and soft. Thank you iris and ms lady:thankyou:

Traycee - For Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner: It gives great slip, moist hair, and works better for me then Nexxuss Humectress

Slyver2 - For Rusk Sensories Smoother Leave-in and NTM Daily Deep Conditioner: Enough said. Awesome products.

My sis (not on the board) - Aveda Emollient Finishing Gloss: It feels awesome like Chi Silk Infusion but it doesnt have the thermal protection properties as Chi. Great stuff.

MissJetsetter - Lacio Lacio: Love it for rollersets. I still use the same bottle from a year ago. It last a longggg time.

Ateyaa (my sis has the same name just spelled different (Attiyah) - Aphogee Green Tea: The bomb. Works well after the 2min. Best combination of strength and softness on the market.

:giggle: I still take credit for oil rinsing , the first post was yours truly

Sereca just spread the goodness around some more :yep:
You were the first person I saw do that, I remember the thread way back. I automatically thought of you when the oil rinsing craze came up.

All hail Iris the oil queen, lol.....and butters, ha ha.

Ambitious: Her whole darn regimen was a template for my own. My usage of AO HSR, AO GPB, Coconut Oil, and deep conditioning all came from her :yep:.

SamJones: Steam. I tried steam and loved it because of her thread.
