Because of the board in general, I would have never started using Qhemet products, Nasabb's oil, tried henna, stepped over to trying salon products or invested in quality styling tools.

These are all staples for me now and keep my hair is the best shape ever.

justkiya :look: I pretty much just lurk her blog and buy or try to mix everything she gets/mixes.

Curly Nikki - she got me soooo intrigued to try henna. I just tried it for the first time yesterday and I'm in LOVE!!!!!!

Cichelle, for stretching when air drying, and keeping the hair stretched
Irresistble, for oil only

There has been so many but for right now I can think of
Traycee- more than one method..various types of buns, plaits after washing, magic soap
Curlynikki-concentrate butter on the ends, twist and curl, micro heat cap, henna
Sylver2-although she is relaxed,--scarf method, not combing till wash day

and a lot more ladies for the following: individual braids w/rods, curlformer introduction, DCing more frequently, using natural ingredients, denman, dusting & trimming

Thanks ladies-

I love all of these methods, products because they have truly turned my hair around and made it a heck of a lot healthier and more mangeable.

SistaSlick- All of those amazing articles helped me out when I was new and lurking.

Sylver- Super low-mani, No protective styling necessary, and NTM.

Allandra- Her thread about coconut oil.

Oh and I totally forgot about you Irresistible!!! Thanks for posting that thread about your daughters hair and how she got her hair back to health after putting a perm in it by just washing, bunning and leaving it alone! Because of that, I am doing the same thing. I am not cutting my damaged ends anymore until they get a certain length THEN I will start back to trimming until they are all gone. I am currently bunning for a year!

Thanks Irresistible!

I could literally go on all night about how you all have helped me and are still helping me, but off the top of my head:

Pokahontas: for honey rinsing and incorporating honey into haircare

Vevster: for diluting natural shampoos w/ water

Frizzy and Bint Yusef: for teaching me that combing my hair while wet is a big reason that those tiny hairs were on my shirt, on the floor, on my pillow...basically everywhere except they should've been--on my HEAD!

Macharieamour: a little really does go a long way in terms of creams and oils

And to all of you for teaching me about

-the benefits of coconut and castor oils
-combing from the ends first
-using a wide toothed comb
-dusting and S&D's
-product ingredients
-clarifying shampoo (I used to think that my hair was clarified whenever it felt stripped)

I look forward to the future lessons!:yep:
