Ditto! This is my procedure as well.

I stopped sealing very damp hair because I felt that it was making my strands weak over time. Now I wait till my hair is 80 to 85% dry, then seal. I find my hair feels stronger doing this. In my experience, sealing very damp hair over time makes see through ends.
Really, why do you think this is?...DO you think your hair has not absorbed enough of the moisture yet?
I honestly dont know. I just began to notice that when I let my hair dry longer, it got thicker looking and felt stronger. I am obsessed with getting to full blunt ends so I'm noticing everything that seems to be keeping me from my goal.
Another thing I 've stopped doing was spritzing my hair so heavily on a daily basis. Just lightly enough for slight moisture.
This is so good to know, because this is something that I was beginning to fear - that sealing it when so wet would make the ends thinner. I love blunt ends too - though I haven't had them in a while! So you put your leave-in on wet hair, but then seal when its 80-85% dry? or do you do both when its almost dry?
I seal when my hair is 50% dry .. i'll undo my twists one at a time and then go over each one when shea buitter .. it helps to elongate my curls as well
it's fine. i do that with my hair because i don't touch my hair again after i get out of the shower. although i would squeeze out excess water/product before sealing
