I'm confused. :perplexed All three of them have lovely hair, IMO. It actually is "all that."

My thoughts on the bold is whenever I see them their hair is not hard pressed as we would call it and want our hair to be. So therefore, all of the length would not be obvious because it is not 100% pressed. It's just pressed enough for it to manageable and able to curl nicely. And like others said, there hair is always pretty and very healthy.

I was shocked to read some of the comments and nasty comparisons made about Seal's son! That's why I'm even more shocked to see the outrage expressed in this thread about the OP picking on kids. And she wasn't even making nasty comments about them being ugly (like I've seen done with other celeb's kids). I feel like I'm taking crazy pills! :lol:

Consider the source of certain comments, and then ask for pics of their hair and see how all of that it is or aint.:rolleyes::lachen:
There is nothing wrong with the girl's hair. I dont care about the picking on kids bit, that is besides the point. The girls hair is fine and healthy and that is why folks are shocked at the question.

I can't speak for everyone else, but a lot of us don't go in the entertainment and other forums, so we're not used to seeing people's kids discussed. My time in the entertainment area was short-lived. I talked about Beyonce a couple of times & after that I learned my lesson. :lachen:

It's not a lynch mob. It's just that more people disagree than agree with the OP. When you have more of something this is called a majority. It's just the OP is in the minority. No lynching, just more ladies than not does not share the same viewpoint and are only exercising their right to express their opinion, just as the OP did.

Their hair looks very healthy, and it's not short by any means. It could be that's just what Michelle prefers at this age. Let's hold off on the judgement.

Ok so I read the entire thread... Here's my 2 cents

my first thought as soon as I read the title was WTH..is it really that serious:perplexed Then I think about how often I actually see little black girls w/ hair even half as heathy as the Obama girls? Not that often nowadays. I can understand if they had dry/brittle relaxed hair w/ no edges pulled up in a half in. ponytail. But these girls have beautiful, thick , healthy hair. I guess sometimes as members of this board we get so caught up on the lenght, especially since they are natural and presumably michelle takes great care of their hair. I personally think they could be role models for these little girls running around getting perms and being damn near bald headed before gthey turn 10!
Furthermore, I understand that alot of times we tend to talk about other celebrities and there children, and these little girls shouldn't be off limits I guess:rolleyes: But would this thread have been started if sasha and mahlia were little white girls w/ apl to bsl healthy thick hair?? Probably not.

Well to me this thread is simply unjustified and pointless. The gilrs hair isn't damaged its not broken off its a decent lenght its thick and healthy. They wear it as children shoud in cornrows twist or ponytails and light press and curls. If their hair was in terrible shape and looked neglected maybe that would warrent a questioning post but to me they look like beautiful girls with beautiful hair. I would hate to have someone make comments like that about my child...it just irks me to hear children criticized especially when there is nothing wrong with their hair. As a culture America is getting brutal when its comes to criticizing others from raven symones eyebrows and weight to others celebrities lack of hair etc. Who cares not everyone is meant to hahair down to their butt. As long as its thick and healthy it doesn't have to be super long, these are ur hair goals not the rest of the worlds.
