My 2 Strand Twist

Hello Ladies!!!
Just wanted to share some pics of my 2 Strand Twists. They are about 4 days old.

I did them myself cuz I was getting mad at my hair. Actually I started just playing with the back then next thing I know...

Yeah so , this was a rushed job. I didn't make any parts, I just grabbed and twisted (did a slight braid at the scalp).

I wore a bra strap headband all day today so thats why i have those lines on my head in that 3rd pic:)

I need to learn how to part my hair and style it. I am still learning. I could use some tips on how to start the rows..Your hair is amazing! I will be practicing tomorrow.:yep:
 
They are sooo cute! Why did you wear the headband? I think they would have looked awesome without it (and no wrinkles in your cute hairstyle if you pull them out and go)!

Can't help ya there lol. I just started "parting" with my fingers and felt my way through it. :lachen:I know there are some great examples on this site, but I'm too lazy for all that. My arms get tires easily lol

Thanks. I think after a couple days they plump up a lil more. Mine looked suspect on day 1. :lachen:But after it got a little damp and dried and all that good stuff, it started to look fuller.

I wore it out on Day 1, but...I can't stand to have hair in my face.:nono:
The lines will go away when i take a shower in the morning:grin:

SimpleBrooklyn, those twists look perfectly fine. I don't part my hair for twists or braids. I grab and braid all the time and they come out nicely.

NatrlChallenge, with the exception of cornrows/flat twists/ flat coils, I don't feel that it's necessary to part your hair. Check out my album, all the braids and twists you see are grab and go.

Thanks for the tip. Your hair styles are awesome! I will be practicing all week end!:yep:
 
Love your twists! Makes me wanna do some... naw...:lachen: Give me some time...I am exhausted. I don't part my hair when I do my twists I just grab twist and go. It usually takes an hour because no parting and such.

The only reason I wasn't online last night because I went to sleep around 9pm yep on a Friday. :grin:

LOL @ the Bolded. I should have been in bed, but this darn site does something to me LOL. I have to give myself a limit sometimes "Ok SimpleBrooklyn, you can only view 10 pages tonight" :lachen:
 
It looks great!!!! I just realized that I need to learn how to cornrow and do these twists and different styles to keep my hair curly!!!!
