:look::look:Ingredients???? por Favor?

Aloe Vera
Sodium Lactate
Distilled Water

Sodium Lactate has been proven to have better short and long term moisturizing benefits versus Glycerin. It is also less sticky, thus reducing the amount of build-up that can be left on the hair after repeated uses!

you can get it here
Cheap too!!! I am also going to try one with Lecithin, Panthenol, and some extracts...will let you all know how it turns out....lol You know we are some home grown chemists up in here!:lachen:

All day baby! Like I said yesterday, we have made better products than they sell in any salon or beauty supply...bet.

 Tears of joy! I just went to that site and it's very inexpensive and I now have a new site to buy my stuff(other than lotioncrafters). Are we a new breed of product junkees? What would we be called??? Ingredient junkees. Thanks Gabdana Girl!

I'm too happy now!

Yayyyyy!!! Crazy cheap right! They ship fast too, because I needs mah products...:rolleyes:LOL - I think we are ingredient junkies!!! LOL I have a slew of places I used to buy all of my things from in bulk (I used to sell raw ingredients to salon's, spa's etc) I will be compiling a list of all the CHEAP places to get herbs & powders (botanicals), essential oils, extracts, carrier oils (Jojoba, Sweet Almond etc) in larger quantities that are much cheaper than the retail spots....will come shortly...:drunk:

OK, so other than the Lactate, what other items have you purchased from this site and how did you like them?

I was sooooo hoping that they'd have the Silk Amino Acids.

I was sooooo hoping that they'd have the Silk Amino Acids.

I have purchased Wheat Germ, Castor Oil, Jojoba, Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Aloe Vera Oil (in Soy), just about any and all carrier oil you can imagine...I have sold them to high-end spas, and have never had a complaint on the quality. I too use most of the carrier oils (grapeseed on my face, as I have oily skin, and it acts as an astringent moisturizer), and a macadamia/kukui/soy oil blend for an after bath body moisturizer. All the oils are good quality.

I have also purchased butters, and botanicals from them...as well as their dimethicone, polysorbate 20, and a few other things from their website. I have been ordering from them for about 3 years now, and have never had an issue. They ship quick, and I have never had anything broken or missing.

http://soaperschoice.com is also another one of my favorites to buy oils in bulk, however they only sell in gallon sizes (still mad cheap)...as opposed to the smaller sizes at Texas Naturals.

You can give them a call about the Silk Amino Acids....they may have it, I did see this there...it is Silk Protein Powder, that has about 18 different Amino Acids...I use this in my condish... I do not know if that is what you were referring to or not.

So you don't need to add a preservative or anything to this mix?

I do not add a preservative, I keep it in the fridge, and make it weekly, using distilled water, and a sterile container (that I have placed in boiling water prior to using), I have never gotten any microbial growth or anything. If you want to make a large batch, like 32 ounces and wanted a longer shelf life, you could use a preservative like phenonip, germaben, or even some EO's.

Gabbana Girl another thanks for those links I forget about MMS. I just placed an order with them. Love ya girl:grin:

I now see where a good chunk of my income tax is going...

I got my silk amino acid from lotioncrafters if anyone is trying to find it. A year ago, I had no idea about this stuff...look at me now!

How does your hair feel after the spray? (Not right after) I want to know becasue glycerin was not OK for me because after (maybe 3 hours after) I sprayed my hair, it would be hard and crunchy.

Other thing is, where are you guys located? Humectants only work if there is moisture in the air, right? In the bitter cold of NY, there's not so much..

Funny I was just sharing that site with somebody here i was telling them about the more natural preservative (Tinosan) I just bought from there. Anyways yes I LOVE texanaturalbeauty they have err thing for CHEAP.

I add sodium lactate to all my vedic shampoo soap bars and butters... good stuff. I also add panthenol to my ayurvedic spritz and Lecithin to my oils because it draws all the other ingredients deeper into the scalp. I just recently ordered their yoke powder, coco betaine, pure caffeine powder and guar gum for my gels

I don't buy oils from there but my sister in law does (she is a member here) and she is very pleased with them.

My hair is very soft.

I don't use it in my spritz I use honey quat (which is a humectant) and my hair stays moist even in the NYC cold.
