I think that I may be um.... special

Ok so I was putting my hair in twists last night and I was looking in the mirror and i noticed that in a lot of the folicles I have multiple strands of hair coming out of that one folicle....please tell me that someone else has experienced this... and ok so this might be TMI but my legs and underarms grow the same way... am I a freak or what?

Hair that I pluck/shave grows back that way . I haven't looked at my scalp yet.

ETA: That seems like it would be a benefit on the scalp though. Thicker hair.

Yep, my leg hair grows that way, and I'm always looking at it like, "What the crap?" I haven't seen if any hair in my scalp grows that way.

My husband hair is like that. And I am so jealous of it too. I would love if I had like three hair growing from each follicle. My hair is pretty thick now but the bigger the better.

That's normal. I learned it from John & Cate Plus 8 lol when the father got hair transplant surgery. The MD explained it that some have single strands, some multiple in various places on the scalp.

stylists have told me this. i think its what makes up density.

A stylist once told me I have 5 hairs growing out of each follicle.

I was begining to think that i was... My husband looks at me like I'm crazy.... He's always like "that's not normal" I'll never the first time he saw my hair not in a pony (it is when it was longer) and he was like wow you sure do have a lot of hair and then he tried to touch my scalp not happenin' and I had even just had a relaxer... my hair is on steroids... I just wish it would GROW!!! I mean I want like 4 inches in a month

My niece and her Godmother has hair like that...a lot of strands of hair . I think lots of people do...especially those with really thick hair.
