Has anyone purchased this item or know anyone who has?

It looks interesting. I am always trying to find things to get my roots straight in between relaxers, especially in the middle of my head where the Poltergeist lives. Haha... I can't find any reviews anywhere. Is it new? I am thinking of using Christmas money for it.

:rocker:

You should post the picture in your OP. I took a look at it and I have no idea what it is nor how to use it...lol It is definitely interesting.

funny you post this, because they have it on amazon, i'm interested in trying it for my stretch. I may buy it in Jan.
here is a video of how some of these tools work. this is not the babyliss but the same type of tool different manufacturer.

i was looking at this a little while ago too....very curious.

Maybe I should be the guinea pig... Haha... It's a lot cheaper than the one made by Rsession Tools... Theirs is only made for the "Rich and Famous." :hair:

Ohhhhh! Could this be the answer to my dreams??? Somebody try it before I have to buy it! I don't think I can't wait. Oh! :perplexed

ok i see you posted the recession tools already, it looks good and the combs keep the hot part from touching the scalp and burning it. i think it'd be good for new growth,

Ok. I went ahead and ordered it. :shopping:

My roots are looking tore up right now, so what do I have to lose right? Haha... I am like 8 weeks post and like I said the middle where the Poltergiest is is the scariest spot. :axehunter:

What have you done while transitioning? I mean I am just trying to stretch a little and I have issues. Maybe I could use a combination of transitioning techiniques and this comb thing if it works... :hair:

Damn, I'm sold. Right behind you Musicachic:shopping::shopping:

I soooooo need this!

We both need to let everyone know how it turns out! I will probably get my hair relaxed next weekend. So I have a week more of guerilla warfare going on in my head... :brucelee:

Oh, getting me some of those wavers too.

I should be done for 2008.

When I went went natural, the first thing I did was to look for a ceramic pressing comb...

Much to my surprise I didn't find one...

Is this the answer to that product desire? :scratchch

At first I was mad because they started with the YT girl, but when they went to work on the sista's edges I was like... Oh yeah!!

ETA: There is no way you could use that windy tool on your own head :perplexed

I could use it on my Lt. Yaky lacefront though :yep:

Haha... I know what you mean. It was like... Um... But then they had to get down deep and dirty... Haha. :brucelee:

It looks like it will have to be small sections of hair, but that is ok. I probably won't have to flat iron all my hair now as much. I really am just trying to flat iron my roots in the end really most times. It looks too like we will have to detangle our hair really well first too because I can see my nappiness getting stuck. :hair:

But I am happy this Babyliss one doesn't cost $180. The only real difference I see is that I think theirs is ceramic and the Babyliss is gold. But it should be all good. :rocker:

Ladies please post your reviews, that edge tool looks marvelous!! Thanks for posting Music!

Which waver did you get? :hair:
Didn't buy yet. They don't have the ones I want.

Wow.... Is it a Hot Comb??? What is it????

It's like a hot comb that takes the comb grooves and glides your hair over a barrel that looks a curling iron barrel. It's built to not really give you a chance to burn your scalp for the clumsy folks like myself.

The video on the Rsession site shows their similar product that costs and arm and a leg (and a foot) in action. The Babyliss is the regular people's version I am hoping. :hair:

Ok... Cool. Are you gonna get a little Michael Jackson heat glove to go with it? :woot:
You funny!!

Hopefully it comes with the little glove, I got one with my baby Sedu.... Michael Jackson, I actually had to think about that for a second...

:lachen:And Me, girl!!!! Hmmm... So many tools, so little time.... I try to use my Miniglide for edges.........I think I would pay 20 bucks for the tool....

I need an Ove glove too - for my Sedu!!!!:lachen:

LOL, I know! I hate how hot it gets on the outside. My hair never gets really straight with regular electric pressing combs but this one looks good. Can't wait to hear your reviews!
