So yesterday I had the most horrible DC wash day. I started flat twisting got tired and put one section of my hair in a ponytail and went to sleep. Will NEVER do that again I had to most knots and tangles in history. Took me 4 hours to detangle and finish styling my hair this morning.

LA is all rain so I wanted to do a style that would last for a few days atleast and still be nice for some of the things I'm doing this week. Meeting up with old friends and going to church Christ-...mas concert at West Angeles.

I've just finished finals and I am in the house bored soooo I decided to post pics which I rarely do. I've taken them with my camera phone so hopefully they come out pretty decent. Here ya go. Not perfect but good enough. Lol.

Thanks! Tips well practice, practice, practice, practice. Find a tutorial and keep practicing the techniques. Here are a couple tutorials.

Thanks! They are flat twisted and then two strand twisted into the style. I used bobby pins to secure them in this pattern. I can actually create a couple different styles if I remove the bobby pins and pin them up a different way.

Okay - that's what it looked like - that's nice! I've never done the flats into TST's before - hrrrmmmmm....... nice.

It's an illusion. lol. The truth would really be told if I did some two stand twist. But, I doubt that I will post those especially since I never do them small anymore. Too much time for a temporary style.

But, I might post some of my large twist and you can see how thin my hair really really looks. So sad...but it is all mine so I embrace it with welcome arms.

Parting? Hahaha I never never part. The only reason I tried to half-way really part these, which was a pain in the butt, and I only really did in the front was because I am going to a couple events and hooking up with some folks I haven't seen in a long time.

My advice for parting...make sure he air is moist and don't rip through the hair. Make sure to keep the ends moist too son you can pull them apart. And finally take your time.

WOW! This is a gorgeous style. When my hair gets long enough to do this it WILL BE a style in rotation. Wow...you can get some really classic flat twist updo styles out of your length. And your flat twist right here is so perfect...you might want to try...I am sure your styles will make folks drool like I WANT THAT!

These came out GREAT - I have yet learned how to do these on my own head, my fingers get "batarded" LOL
