Hey Ladies,
Where do you get your henna? I want to try it for the first time. Thanks in advance!
Catherine Cartwright-Jones(the owner of these sites listed here) has a color chart with her henna. You can achieve that by adding so much henna with so much indigo. She has a color chart from red to black, warm brown being in the middle. You won't be disappointed! Thanks for the information. I would love a "warm brownish" color.
Co-sign on From Nature With Love's henna. $6/lb. None of that grams nonsense. Do I look like a European or a math major? NO, well put that ish in "American" please! Shoot.
WHOA! My next purchase will be from FNWL. They always have sales.
I wonder - Do they have indigo????
OMG, JustKiya! So that mehandi stuff is WAY more expensive than I had even thought... I shoulda paid more attention in math class, lol. thanks for the info!
I get my henna from FromNatureWithLove - it's significantly cheaper than Mehendi.com, and it works, fabulously.
One of these days I'll pony up for Mehendi's, and see if there is really a difference.![]()

Yea, that is why I stopped ordering from them - the OOS sign is always out!!!!
That sucks.
Oooh! MountainRose Herbs is a good spot too for herbs, in general, if you haven't checked them out. I have not tried their henna, yet, though - I think their pricing was along the lines of FNWL....
Great. Now there won't be any henna left at FNWL. OOS all the way.
You're so helpful, Kiya.

My bad, Cichelle. *sigh* You ain't never lied though - I need to go place an order myself!
Nice! Which ones? I have a bunch of nettle & horsetail in my freezer from making MoeGro Oil (didn't realize how much 8 oz of dried leaves were!) and I suppose I could make tea to use in my mixes, but I don't know what else to do with it. I use the hibiscus, but I'm confused with the irish moss, too. Hrm.
But I let the website out the bag!![]()
