I will bump for you.

As you can see from my siggie, I am looking for one, too.

I am looking for one without parabens, cones, mineral oil, or petroleum.

I have yet to find something good that fits the bill.

:ohwell:

I like using an all purpose product called "Hair One". Its a genetric version of "Wen". This can be used as a pre-poo, shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, and DETANGLER.

You can find it in Sally's Beauty Supply store for about $10.99.

I used the Olive Oil formula...it worked wonders for my hair.

THE BEST CREAM DETANGLER IS THE NOW DISCONTINUED QHEMET BIOLOGIC'S OLIVE CREAM DETANGLER. THEIR NEW PRODUCT COCOA DETANGLER GHEE IS SUPPOSED TO WORK WELL. I ALSO LIKE THE AFRO DETANGLER.

It hasn't for me. :look:

I am so disappointed too. Based on the reviews, it seems that mostly naturals are loving it. It was not good for me and I haev really given it multiple tries.

For me, it is not very detangling. It does make my hair soft, but not detangled. Also after doing my hair with heat, I noticed that I needed to increase the temperature to get my hair as straight and my hair did not have as much shine. My hair had more volume that I would prefer. Some may like that though.

I plan on trying the Afro Detangler. I got a sample from another member and will try it tonight maybe.

why don't u try...Hairveda's Amla Cream Rinse. Its noted as a shampoo...but it really acts like a detangler IMO...that's how i use it. it doesn't sud up...and it has the consistency of conditioner.

.i used it when i was 17 weeks post and that comb glided thru. and u can buy it for $2 off for her black friday sale.

dominican rinses are also good too. I use Laifer Honey and Almond rinse.

yep. I have given up. :look:

I tried the Afro Detangler and it was so so. Not creamy enough to take the place of the Olive Cream Detangler.

Oh well.

I was even more saddened to see that the package got SMALLER - from 8 oz to 5 oz.....:ohwell:

Good lord. I think that sealed the deal for me too.

What are the ingredients in hairone? I seems like something that I might want to try for my nappy hair. I like having and rotating a few conditioners at a time.

I don't want anything to stop working.

Afro detangler worked well once I had the hang of it, but too inconvenient to get a hold of, Eqyss Cream Rinse is absolutely brilliant I bought it by mistake and now ordered four bottles of the stuff HTH

I second this about the premier rinse. Only thing better is their Survivor detangler [but that is like a serum].f

I use Phyto 7 - I buy the larger size from Polly and Company (www.pollyandco.com) excellent price; she is the only one I've found who sells the large size which lasts for the better part of three months; and this woman knows the meaning of free sample and is very generous with the samples in every shipment.

I once ordered the large Phytojoba mask from her, and she was out. She sent me the small size (5 instead of 16 oz) for free with extra samples and sent the large one within the week and did not charge for shipping, so I ended up with a $22 bottle of conditioner for free AND received the large one I ordered too.

Okay - that was totally off topic, but Polly is a great vendor and Phyto 7 (or phyto 9 if you choose) is an excellent detangler.

Royal Roots Softner detangler Remover. I love thatstuff. Its THE ONLY thing that i tried that works. Its amazing and smells good too

Let me know how that works out!

The Afro Detangler is okay, but not a Olive Cream Detangler replacement. The Afro Detangler is not as creamy, I would consider it a liquid leave-in. That's fine, but I already have one of those that I like. It is not a Olive Cream Detangler replacement at all.

I give up on finding a replacement. I am going to try to revamp my regimen some how. :nono:

Yep... just what she said.... the best detangler is gone by Qhemet. I have tried the new version and it just doesn't work for me. I ordered the Wen and will see how it goes.
