how do you design fotkis?

I just paid for my fotki and I'm tired of it looking so boring. How do I make it look pretty? Please someone just drop me some knowledge on it and I'll be happy

You don't have to pay for a basic account. You can change basic things like color schemes in the free account. Go to "go to" in the upper left quadrant (not quite corner) and click for the drop-down menu. Then go to My Account. Then go to Color Scheme under Appearance.

I wanted to add pictures too and they wouldn't let me do that with a free account. Thanks mwedzi b/c I didn't know what the world I was doing

What do you mean by add pictures? Do you mean just upload your pics into fotki, or do you mean have a special background that you created? Because just for uploading pics, you can do that with a free account. I haven't paid Fotki anything.
