 I can't do it anymore, at least not right now. My hair likes to have relations with each other so I end up trimming too much.:nono: I've never combated this problem so I'm putting a stop to it.

:lachen::lachen::lachen: For some reason this part cracked me up. I'm sure your hair will look great :).

Awww!

All the nappies are dropping like flies!!

Good Luck! I'm sure it will look fantastic! :yep:

yeah, people cutting, relaxing, i feel so alone right now.

Good Luck. I'm sure it will look very pretty. don't let your hair get to you. i'm drastic like that myself. i'm an all or nothing kinda lady.

I can't be bothered. I will resume my efforts later on. My hair likes to wrap itself around each other too much resulting in me losing too much hair.

LOL @ the bolded! That is how I felt too, I just couldn't be bothered anymore. Today I deep conditioned with the ORS replenishing pak, blowdried and put my hair in a pony and it only took me 1 1/2 hours:blush:, vs. 4 or 5. I will tell you that since I texturized/texlaxed I have been happier. It is an adjustment as my relaxed hair does not like what my natural hair liked. My natural hair thrived in a wettish/damp state whereas my relaxed hair hates that, it does best when fully dry. Good luck, and I can't wait to see the pics either!

where is da chile at?!

:lachen: I haven't done it yet because I've been too busy. Its coming real soon. Stay tuned because I really can't be bothered but I feel so attached to my natural hair. I also started waiting to relax when the spring comes through. :look: I'm so confused.....

..i was wondering...take ur time girl..i know thats a big decesion..

I understand where you coming from too. I just pulled out a strain right now, because I found a knot and tried to get rid of the knot. This is getting old and I'v been natural for 3 years and just below neck length around shoulder length.

I love the nappy loo of my hair you now the thick wave, but I can't take the knots anymore. I want some length. So I am going to press mroe often. Well, I am going to start flat ironing my hair. Never going back to the relaxer.

I'm in the same boat. I thought I had my mind made up but now I don't know. :ohwell: What if it doesn't come out the way I want it?

This is exactly the way I feel. I think I might blow it out on a weekly basis to combat the knots. When the spring or summer comes, I will think about relaxing again.

I don't know about doing it in the spring though. It's all humid in the spring, you might get ticked off with the reversion.

Good luck though, whenever you decide.

Good luck Whip and Glam, I know it's a hard decision. My hair has never turned out perfectly as in I wash/condition/add a little leave in and go:nono:. I always have to do something, braid it, twist it, something. Otherwise it still shrinks up too much. I am finding the easiest style is for it to be straightened. It hasn't started the rainy season here yet here so my most recent flat-iron is still looking really nice. Keep us updated.
