I'm taking notes.:yep: How do you ladies use the coconut oil? Like grease or do you melt it and use it?

I melt mine and work it through sections of my hair. I also use it as a oil rinse when I'm washing. I hadn't really thought of using it like a grease, but would love to hear input, too, from ladies who might use it like that.

It melts in your hands. So I just put a dab in my hands, rub together and run through my (wet) hair--focusing more on the ends usually.

I'm not fully natural yet but so far I am using a combo of Hair One (olive oil), shea Moisture leave-in & water. I put a few pumps of each into my water bottle along with warm water and shake it up.

I also use BRX braid spray (African Royale)

On my cousin, I use a mixture of water, glycerin and aloe vera gel. Her hair is usually in braids and she sprays it night and day. When I unbraid it to wash it, it feels soft and moisturized, then I wash and deep condition it.

I use an Aloe Vera juice/ Glycerine mix daily
