Thanks Tiffers! This stuff is gonna allow me to make it through to 8 wks! Ladies- Don't sleep on this!!!!

:woohoo:

YEAH!!!!! I lurve my Hawaiian Silky! I just can't say enough about it. If it'll keep my dh's hair moisturized, it'll work for anyone!

**Just a word of caution I wanna keep putting out there: I only get my Hawaiian Silky from Sally's, I got it from my Asian bss once and it was watered down and lumpy. Left my hair a dry and tangled mess. I don't trust those blankety blanks any more :nono: Only from Sally's :yep:

I use it as well, right after I wash & DC. I put it on and seal with a little oil, then dry/style. I like it because it's creamier than the water based leave ins I'd been using (like EQP H-Two).

I am natural and I really like this product. My hair hated s-curl but it loves the hawaiian silky.

mann i was deciding if i should get this when i was buying the relaxer last weekend and i opted not just because i haven't read about it o heard any reviews but thank you i will be making a stop to pick one up

Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker 14-in-1: is the very best product for protecting and maintaining your hairstyle. This versatile product can be used as a curl activator and moisturizer on natural curls and perm waved hair and a leave-in conditioner for relaxed, natural and braided hair. This non-greasy, non-staining formula helps to soften and detangle hair while soothing the scalp and healing abrasions leaving a vibrant sheen.

Ingredients:Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, PEG-75 Lanolin, Cetyl Alcohol, Strealknium Chloride Polysobate-60, Triethanoolmaine and others.

There are a LOT of ingredients. I'm too lazy to type them all, but it contains: Rosemary, sage, oatmeal, jojoba oil, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, angelica root, articum lappa root extract, mistletoe, nettle, cetyl and steryl alcohols and more. It does contain mineral oil and all that jazz, but :ohwell: It works wonderfully

It can be used as a daily moisturizer on dry hair and as a leave in. Love it! :yay:

Has anyone used this as a leave-in with a rollerset?

I noticed it had mineral oil - does it cause any adverse effects? (weigh down hair, build up,...)

Chardai: I haven't used it for rollersets. I want to, but I hardly ever wear my hair down. The last time I did, I flatironed and used the HS to moisturize. It didn't weigh my hair down, it's a pretty light cream :yep:

I will be taking a trip to Sally's soon. You ladies are making me want to pick this up. I keep trying out different moisturizers and they are either too heavy or too light for my thick hair.

OMG i bought this weeks ago and recently used it. A STAPLE FOR SURE:grin:. I got mine from the bss and the bottle says D048818EXP415. Does this mean it expires April 2015?

I was upset b/c I took my Denman back (love it but it just took way too much of my hair out unnecessarily) and wanted to exchange it for a few things, including the 14 in 1. They don't carry it at my Sally's at all! So, until I run out of my other stuff and make my BSS run, I will be sticking to my other stuff. I love what I have now, but you got me curious

I was just about to send a PM to Tiffers about this! I bought mine this past weekend. And I love it! I use this in addition to rose water. I spray the rw on first and then I spray this on. No greasy Soul Glow residue...and my hair is super soft and moist. Definitely a winter time keeper for me as I plan on being bunned up for a good majority of the winter months.:yep:

Okay. I am confused. Tiffers, is this the one above the one you used cuz the ingredients you talk about seem different. I went to Sally's last nite and got the Herbal Oil Moisturizer one. I think it is great for the winter conditions(dry indoor heat & cold temperatures). I love it so far & it smells really good.

LD: I've never tried the Elasta QP spray, but I lurve spray moisturizers too and this is the best one I've ever tried! :yep:

Reyna: Yep, That's the one I use :-D I just took a few random ingredients from the list and posted them, HS 14in1 has a LOT of ingredients! The Oil Moisturizer is next on my list, so I'm glad to see you like it!

Is it better than Elasta QP H-Two?
I love spray leave ins.
I used to use the H-Two and I like this better.
I will say that this is a creamy spray leave-in though, so if you like a light wet (watery) one, H-Two will be better.
In thinking about it, the H-Two is something you could lightly mist if your hair is down. I cant see using the 14n1 that way (I have tried though).

I bought the HS14in1 this past weekend and used it on my dd's hair. Her hair is rather dry and frizzy. I applied it, braided her hair for the night and put a cap on her head. The next morning her hair was rather stiff and dry. It wasn't as moisturized as it usually is with the aloe vera juice/rosewater/glycerine mix I spritz on her hair. I spritzed her hair with my mixture just to get it softer and detangled again. I want to try again though after I wash her hair this weekend.
It worked okay for hair. It does make my relaxed hair very soft. How do you guys style your hair after applying it?
