Thanks! It took two days...about 8 hours each day. and I get them tightened every month

I'm sorry, but what are sisterlocks? I've been seeing posts about them recently, but don't know what they are. They kind of look like microbraids to me. Is that the idea?

Sisterlocs are just locs that are done using a special techique and tool done by locticians that have been trained and certified. They are really small compared to the traditional loc and the technique used makes them strong (tensil like). The technique used allows you to wash them often without worrying about them unraveling. They do look like braids in the beginning. Because they are so small they are easier to manipulate and style. Check out the website.
